On this occasion, taking all things into account, not sure how the wind blows, and if the wood can still stand my weight,so a trying not to sit on the fence,

Looking at all sides of the story,........

We are top top heavy...with whining moaning ,just love a sacking, notgm forest sabateours, hen pecking, negative crusaders

Who refuse to stop their insesent, down with the manager...posing posts...Not forgetting exactly the same infiltrating ,infuriating posters even

During our title season......

The silent majority will always win......So Puel, until he fails or longer when he succeeds stays in charge. So I choose Puels way...

Not because I know any better..but immature crusades show lack of any true support for club, and squad of present players.

They all deserve a chance, and not this every single game defeat group of know-alls, who go on and on,and on,and not once in 10

Successfully years have credit where credit is due....Some losers in life just happen to have these negative aurora ,and thoughts

about other people.......

I will be hard, when the time come...that time is a long way off....because Mr Puel,or any other manager who gets our club 10th and

above has succeeded...We are not a regular CL material,we are not a consistent top 6 side....We have not won the FA cup...

We have occasionally put out hands on the recognised League cup.

Staying above top 12  in the hardest(not best) league in the world is an achievement.....If you are soft in the head and can't accept that

You are the problem...

6 posters I recommend for good fair reading over a season, although I don't expect to agree all the time,is the real true measure of

This forum... @Col city fan @Babylon       @worthosoriginals  @Bluetintedspecs   @Suzie the Fox  @volpeazzurro  occasilnally @Swan Lesta

@Muzzy Izzet

In between the lines they are fair, have their own bias, but fair. I don't know one of them, only on this forum..Swanny  goes off on one sometimes.

There are still more of   an hardcore of posters and fans, like above .who might rightly question management team, but don't ask every 5 minutes,

after every defeat for the head of every player of manager......It's now become boring....So there is no meaning!!!

ffs  give the guy,and certain players until at least,at least until  beginning of December......5 games (not last season)  and Nego s  say they

are supporters....Don't make me laugh..!!!

Respectfully, I’d like to think I go off on one more than occasionally. With slightly less respect, I’m extremely disappointed to appear on any kind of list which includes @Col city fan.

Stupid topic.

Only a few weeks ago the same people calling for his head were saying they wanted the successful Dyche and Wagner. Seems they aren't that hot after all doesn't it?

It takes time to work in new players and a new system. we have a very young team (especially with Wes out this week). A lot of opposition fans would be drooling to have our players and our league position.

Too many FTers have unrealistic expectations or a mental sickness.

Instead of banning posters Mark should ban topics like PUEL OUT until the end of the season.

Your constant patronising tone does you no favours when trying to get your point across.

Just as annoying as people who call for Puel to be sacked after every poor result, are posters like you who moan about them constantly.

This is a forum, where people can share their opinions. They will be different. Some will want to give Puel more time than others will. It's on a scale and at one end we have those who want him gone now, compared to those who would give him many seasons as long as he didn't relegate us, with most posters lying somewhere in between those two extremes.

My point is, let them voice their opinions, as you do yours and  then debate them if you wish... Key word being debate, not insult them or question their level of support just because they have a different opinion to yours.

I understand what you're saying here.    But I disagree on one point.

People calling for the manager's head after every defeat are much more annoying, than people complaining about them.

Edited to say: In a similar way, people leaving the ground early are much more annoying than people complaining about them!

Fair point, although the handful of 'Puel Out' posts we get in every match day thread really don't bother me that much, A lot of them are done in jest and those that aren't I just ignore as they never hold any weight with me, unless they explain their reasoning behind it.

I just think there needs to be a bit more tolerance of people's opinions on here, rather than posting rants embedded with insults. Debate each other or ignore and then only engage with people you want to engage with on here

Oh my god.

Just as I thought, freedom of speech ONLY if we support our dictator.....I mean manager

Puel can go **** himself after he gets chased out of the stadium by pitchfork wielding maniacs like me.

What do you say to that.

unfortunately it's the world we live in, these days.

no patience, no loyalty or leeway given.

if the results aren't immediate then people lose their collective minds and take to social media to shout their displeasure, oust the manager and start all over again. rinse, repeat.

it's a project, we have a young squad. it's a hard league - nobody, on any given day has the divine right to beat anyone else in this league.

we're going to lose games - it's how this football thing works; for every team.

starting Puel out threads every time we lose is tedious.

yes, he's getting things wrong - he's also getting some things right and as our owner said recently - he isn't just being judged on 3 points every weekend; he's being judged on a much bigger picture.

clearly a long-term project to develop youth. it'll take a while to bear fruit but could be exciting when it does - just give it a bit more than 5 games, maybe. eh.

One thing to say.

Im not loyal to a manager who is not performing.

My loyalty lies with the club, managers will come and go and shit ones do not deserve ‘loyalty’ imo.

Do we really need a new manager?!? We're mid-table after 5 games having played 2 of the traditional top 6, with 3 of our opening games away, there's no shame in that.

I really don't want to see us go through another 4 week period with no clue as to who to appoint, only for us to get desperate and just pick a random underwhelming candidate.

If Puel was to leave the only candidates that would interest me are ones which we would never be able to attract. Puel in my opinion is equal to or better than the best of the rest so I'm content with him remaining.

I'm no puel fan but he could turn things round (I hope)..replacing morgan would be a start..not starting Gray up front would be another (that was bizzare)...imho this team would be better as a 3-5-2 the players are there to make this happen..that's just what I think would work.

As for a new manager coming in if the owners decided to change it then I would want eddie Howe.

Nah, you weren't loyal from the get go and you, as well as many others, never gave the bloke a chance. You're feasting on every mistake, every defeat, to fuel your anger and your wish to see him gone.

He has a clear idea of what he's doing, a project that includes the academy youngsters, which's worth mentionning. And like any other project, it needs time before it's starts showing its results, and by time I mean a couple of seasons, not games. The most obvious example would be actually Klopp's Liverpool. But hey ho, his english's shit, he gives crappy interviews, so let's run like headless chicken and sack any effing manager after a couple of defeats until we find ourselves in the Championship again.

The 2015/16 one off is still subconsciously clouding your judgement wether you want to acknowledge it or not and any sense of perspective's lost on you.

This forum has reached such a toxicity level that I'm now avoiding it like the plague.

Alternatively, people want him gone because he's doing a crap job.

You are correct I’m as much as I didn’t want him in the first place.

We were warned by the Soton fans and they were dead right, in the best part of a year the results are piss poor after the ‘new manager bounce’.

With the squad he has had he should have done much much better, and in such circumstances only an idiot would put one

man above the betterment of the club as a whole.

Oh I don't mind opinion of debate...all concientious and gentleman like ,even dipping into the odd snipe.Emotional frustrating knee jerks....

it's the IMO constant  hacking off,of every single manager that walks through our doors, and every single young player before reaching 22yrs,and

a 10-30 game history....yes I totally agree with your post....but in the same vane,I have that same right of voice to question ,when not the club,

or management ,or players, but the posters who continually go on long campaigns to discredit everything, when

Somebody trys first to do their best, in a non-gratefully  thankless enviroment....

Oh yes they all earn the £££s.  But respect of patience and time,to succeed or fail, and to totally

Rebuild as to be given....

We fluffed our post title season,we lost everything that Pearson and other built, off the pitch....

That prevented a natural continuity to build on that season....That 2nd post  season was worse because it was equal to any newly promoted team, not a respectful path of title winners, not just on the field but off it..call it also top foreign management naivity...who knows.

So staff wise,we were poor in spending and choice of players,we let's say lost the nack...The club bumbled it!!

We did however had some still experienced winners, who were on the way out....but also thankfully we had a few youngsters,or

Fringe players, that might not get you in the top 6,but into a stage what all fans have been crying out for...A top half PL side, with

No relegation fear...Last season the owners decided on a certain path,a new vision had to be created, and chewed over!!!

They knew the old character and deep ethos of the team and club, had been burnt and gone.....So a knew platform had to

be rebuilt,

#using hopefully the transfer window more  cautiously, and not blindly.

# Bringing youth, not yet 21 to the fore

#say goodbye to actually a large group of players,   legends,   hard to say but club failures, and ones that didn't cut it,for us.

# A first season for any manager, that would be dirty and thankless, but hopefully still a challenging top half finish, that was no1priority

# Testing trying who from the squad, could be taken into the future, 1 season, 2-4 seasons.

# This season,is just the start,we have a plan....WBA,STOKE,SUNDERLAND had no plans Everton/C.Palace finding it difficult to think of one.

Watford  unique approach with club plan, keeping them in the PL,and playing decent football...Wolves a dream..

# Owners made a wide statement...some posters tended to ignore the good intentions and what it means of the honest consequences.

# Small point...Puels English has Improved, doesn't make him a great "Ranieri" narrator or after party speaker.Who cares!!

# Unless it really implodes Puel will have the backing, patience and mandate from the owners and within the club ,to nuture, develope,

and bring the team into a new era. Moaning after 5 games, brings nothing...because he is the man in charge for well into the season.

#I see you don't like me voicing my opinions, towards the members who chose to go on permanent negative campaigns,

I will never denounce their  or that right, but as mentioned,in like I can look at those negative attitudes and opinion on them,

and say ,I believe it's a totally grumpy old path.and in my view boring....

#There has to be a time for vocal/posting support, and understanding where we actually are,in finding from within our squad, a new group of individuals who     can   become stalwarts of the gameday  1st team and bench selection.....

# So occasionally ,I will voice my right in choosing to go on my own crusade against the permanent moaners....by all means whine away..

53 games for Southampton and 41 games for us and counting. Not sure where these arguments come from implying he only arrived last week and people calling for a change are being so outrageously unfair...

Those suggesting that fans' opinions are being clouded by our past success, holds about as much weight as those also having their judgement clouded by this "perfect world" of bringing through youth and so excusing poor displays and needing more and more time for this magic day in the future when everything simply "clicks" together... How many failing managers are still waiting for it to all "click"...?

In saying all that, I understand that time CAN be a very important factor and patience does pay off sometimes. How much patience is the question and one that people on here could debate endlessly.

What I want to see, is Puel getting the basics right and being willing to change things if they are glaringly obvious. At Bournemouth, he got the basics badly wrong and was tactically outclassed by Howe.

As I said before, I'm now curious to see how he reacts against Huddersfield and what changes and tweaks he will make. I think that will be a big indication on what kind of Manager he is. Unfortunately, I think he may play the exact same system again, and even with a win, I still think that is papering over the cracks of a system that just doesn't get the best out of our talented group of players.

Prove me wrong Puel, if not next week, then at least in the next 8-10 games, that I am personally willing to give you to get things right here.

The squad was getting too old, it had to change on a fairly seismic level.

He has begun.

Change is painful and disruptive.

Puel has a history of blooding  and developing youth over a long period.

(Different league granted)

Individual games may be disappointing, the season may be disappointing, BUT these are your/our expectations and do not hopefully reflect the owners longer term strategy.

As long as finish in the top half, i would consider this a successful first transition season from which we would push on (and on)
