And nor is Newcastle’s. Yes?

We aren’t bloody Newcastle. We aren’t owned by Mike Ashley. By any measure our squad is better.

Benitez built that team though - including shipping out mitrovic and young English hopeful Armstrong.

It depends what materials you have to build with in the end.

Are you really suggesting that a manager with Benitez’s pedigree is not better than Puel?

I’m suggesting that we don’t need to sack Puel and that he is a better fit with the players we have at Leicester than Benitez. I’d also personally rather leak a few goals than watch defensive football.

He built it with the money he was given. And it was not much.

Not saying we should get Rafa, we don't need to and he wouldn't want to come here, but he's done a great job at Newcastle with very limited ressources.

The mitrovic deal made no sense

The more I think about it, the more I reckon David Wagner would be a great appointment for us. He's a good age, has the kind of personality our fans would appreciate and he's done an absolutely incredible job at Huddersfield when you think about where they were when he arrived.

He'd be my number 1 pick right now. Still genuinely hopeful that it gels for Puel but I'm becoming increasingly less confident that it will.

Listen to his post match ramblings on the sky sports app, he's worse than Puel!!

Not really taken much notice of football this season but that David Wagner has always been highly thought of.

And Huddersfield fans are said to be getting restless with him and his tactics

Our first goal was good evidence why that’s the case. They have been utterly dull and defensive for eight months now

It's one of the worst I've seen, can't ever remember another goal like that at that point, we had two players ahead of their whole team in their own half through on goal lol

Had we conceded a goal like that our fans would rightly be fuming.

Could understand if we were counter attacking after a 95th minute corner when they had pushed everyone up, but to do that when they are in the lead in the first half.

"Puel goes.  Who do you choose?"

1.   Puel hasn't gone, and isn't going anywhere in a hurry.

2.   We don't choose.   The club's owners do.

I couldn't believe what I was seeing to be honest. Even I would have lost my shit if we conceded a goal like that.

I would wholeheartedly suggest that Benetez is no better than Puel. Wouldn't want him anywhere near our club for all the reasons previously stated. He's a charlatan. Occasionally been at the right place at the right time but no reasonably big club would touch him with a barge pole. If we were to get rid of Puel you'd presumably want an upgrade. He's in the same league nowdays as Hughes and Pardew ad far as I'm concerned and wouldn't want them either.

I wouldnt be considering Benitez right now but to equate his ability to Hughes and Pardew is a bit much.

Hughes and Pardew have caused severe damage to almost every club they have been involved with this decade. Benitez has done a fair job making Newcastle somewhat competitive after the dreadful McClaren era, not to mention dealing with Mike Ashley.

Lets just lock this thread and support the Manager of our very promising team.

It's a disgrace to keep this Puel out shit going.

If our owners are happy then I am facking ecstatic.
