midland_red Posted 3 November 2018 Posted 3 November 2018 we are coming into the game, which is some achievement in the circumstances
TheUltimateWinner Posted 3 November 2018 Author Posted 3 November 2018 No objections from the Cardiff players, Bamba looking guilty as feck, every Leicester player coming to you saying it was a handball, yet the arrogant twat thinks different? 1

martyn Posted 3 November 2018 Posted 3 November 2018 (edited) VARDY WAS OFFSIDE. Mendy has been our stand out. He would be brilliant if he had that little burst of speed to fully escape from tight areas. Edited 3 November 2018 by martyn 1

It was clearly a hand ball so penalty is fair, but it did not seem to be intentional so a red would have been extremely harsh. Rule needs to change. The problem with just awarding a penalty is that it is 100% a goal without the handball, it’s an 80% chance with the penalty.
Master Fox Posted 3 November 2018 Posted 3 November 2018 The good news is they have still have Bamba on the pitch which means he’ll do something else ridiculously stupid in the 2nd half.

Even if he'd admitted it the ref wouldn't give it, Fowlers penalty for Liverpool was example when he went over, penalty given but fowler went straight to the ref said it wasn't. He then took the penalty and put it softly to the goalkeeper.

J.Lisemore Posted 3 November 2018 Posted 3 November 2018 Vardy offside but doesn't shadow the fact the referee missed a clear handball. may aswell not having fvcking refs at this rate, majority of them are absolutely useless.
Messi Posted 3 November 2018 Posted 3 November 2018 Vardy hit it too well, if only he had scuffed it abit and we would have been 1-0 up. Last 5-10 mins of the first half were encouraging, hoping we go at them after the break.

Kitchandro Posted 3 November 2018 Posted 3 November 2018 I don't think the players have looked off the pace at all compared to other games this season. Unfortunately Puel's tactics have us playing so deep that it takes us an absolute age to get up the pitch and the ball into dangerous areas.

The Doctor Posted 3 November 2018 Posted 3 November 2018 I take it Bamba is their backup keeper? Blatant
Brooksy Posted 3 November 2018 Posted 3 November 2018 Look at him just standing there thinking a corner is the right decision. The arrogance of the man is frightening
Larry_LCFC Posted 3 November 2018 Posted 3 November 2018 Poor decision by the ref not to give the penalty but it was offside anyway. VAR would have cancelled it out regardless.
StriderHiryu Posted 3 November 2018 Posted 3 November 2018 That whole kick off sequence (had to be retaken three times) just shows you the type of ref this is. Idiot.

Explains why VAR is needed, plain and simple. Vardy was off, but if a penno was given, that would have been harsh on Cardiff. As it is, we feel hard done by, but evened out...through luck (for the officials) 1

The ball's in the penalty area being shot towards the goal and he didn't see it. What else could he have been looking at that was more important?
