The look on his face as Gray took off his shirt, I just knew it. This is where they need some discretion.... I'm sure no one (including the Cardiff players and fans) would have complained... 2
Popular Post Deeg67 Posted 3 November 2018 Popular Post Posted 3 November 2018 Not enough people realize just how great Ben Chilwell is playing right now. He's better than good - he's superb. Pole-to-pole. 10
cityfanlee23 Posted 3 November 2018 Posted 3 November 2018 So so happy for Gray there, also everyone else.

Show some common sense you **** I know it's technically the rules but this - pay attention to the situation ffs. Obviously every player was wearing one of those shirts and whoever scored was whipping it out 1

He made a mistake for the penalty and if he doesn't need to explain that he certainly doesn't need to explain not giving him a yellow under the recent circumstances. X 4
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 3 November 2018 Posted 3 November 2018 No common sense by the referee there, no wonder they get such bad press
Arkie Bennett Posted 3 November 2018 Posted 3 November 2018 Magnificent! Shame the yellow card is one of the few major decisions Probert has got right.
Silva Fox Posted 3 November 2018 Posted 3 November 2018 Quality from Phil Thompson on Sky Sports criticising Probert for booking Gray 1
cityfanlee23 Posted 3 November 2018 Posted 3 November 2018 We cannot blame Probert for that. It's the letter of the law and he had to do it, you could see he didn't want to but he will face repercussions if he does not. With the way the rules are probert could easily end up getting removed from matches in future if he purposely disobeys the rules which affects his job. A yellow to Gray really does not.
Larry_LCFC Posted 3 November 2018 Posted 3 November 2018 The referee could easily justify not booking Gray for that to the powers that be. It's called discretion.
jayfox26 Posted 3 November 2018 Posted 3 November 2018 Get in Demarai! I know its the rules but the ref should have used discretion with that yellow. He really is a bit of a **** lee probert
HoustonFox Posted 3 November 2018 Posted 3 November 2018 "THERE'S ONLY ONE VICHAI" giving me goosebumps...
Nalis Posted 3 November 2018 Posted 3 November 2018 To be fair to the ref he would prob be (wrongly) reprimanded if he didnt go by the letter of the way. Hate the rule not the ref.
