Nice to see one of the Burnley players run over especially to give his shirt to that severely disabled lad in the wheelchair. You could see the excitement as he was leaving.

Not sure what the stewards close by did for him but there were big handshakes all round between him, his carer and them.

Does anyone know which player that was?

It sounds strange to say, as you often see players hand out shirts to kids and the like, but there felt something genuinely empathetic about it

I think it was Lowton, but not a 100% on that.

And sorry for the idiot who threw the smoke bomb in your end, 32,000 at the ground and like everywhere we have our idiot

It was the lad in the green striped bobble hat, OR someone very close to him. Knob.

It was definitely Lowton #2.

There were a fair few Burnley fans near me on the walk yesterday and a lot of them laid down flowers at the memorial site. Credit to themselves and their club.

Yeah, shook a lot of hands yesterday after the game as they were getting on their busses.

Would share a pint with them any day.

Was that the lad (Or the one close by that did it)  they arrested and escorted down and out halfway thro the 2nd half?

As a burnley fan the result didn't matter.what mattered was our fans and players paying respect to your owner in difficult circumstances and showing respect for what he achieved for your club.if we had got beat 4-0 it would have made no difference.i hope we achieved that.

Thank you to Burnley for their conduct yesterday. To be honest, I know, like we all do, that the vast majority of people would conduct themselves in this way but you only need a couple of twats to start shouting and suddenly the whole silence is ruined, along with the reputation of the club involved.

But the Burnley fans showed they genuinely respected it and it was nice to see plenty of them remain behind at the end for Top's "lap" and warmly applauded him and the Leicester players as he walked by them.

I’m not sure you know. I took that photo standing on my seat at the very back. Couldn’t see much of what went on when stood back down (if that makes sense ?)

The lad who threw it was a couple of rows in front of me. It was him who lit them too, the dye/powder that came off them has f**ked my white shoes too. He made a run for it as soon as he lobbed the red one. Wasn't the guy in the hat BTW.

I was disgusted to be fair. It was the only reason I took the pic, but then the club will identify him with their CCTV anyway. The Burnley fans were nothing but respectful yesterday, and then we have an idiot who goes and does that. I’m all for slagging off the away fans for 90mins but that’s just a step too far and on an occasion like yesterday of all days

To be fair, there were a handful of young tossers in the Burnley section who said certain things goading home fans but they were rightly ejected/moved long before the flare got thrown. Hopefully the cctv footage picks up on the lad who did it. Personally I wasn't bothered about the flares being lit, in red and blue I kinda hoped it would appear like a supportive gesture to Top and the other Thai representatives looking over from the opposite side. Throwing it was pure stupidity though and I heard it hit an elderly lady (not sure if that's true though)

Have to agree, a team I'm not fond of to say the least thanks to playing style and the manager. But the way they conducted themselves was very respectful. Fair play to em.

I thought it was quite fitting in a way to play Burnley. They're the club we've probably been battling against the most in Vichai's time here. Promotion 2014, relegation 2015, Europa League 2017.
