Mehrez Posted 22 November 2018 Posted 22 November 2018 Well this is getting a bit threadbare, assuming Maguire, Vardy and Ghezzal are out we could be left with Schmeichel Simpson Morgan Evans Chilwell Ndidi Mendy Ricardo Maddison Albrighton Gray

Haywood_6 Posted 22 November 2018 Posted 22 November 2018 Anyone choosing Okazaki over Iheanacho need their heads looking at 2 1

What has Ihaeanacho shown since he's been here to show he's a greatly superior player either as an individual or for the team? Okazaki may be inconsistent but at least we know he often brings the best out of Vardy, whereas we've yet to see much evidence of anything of that for Iheanacho yet. It's a perfectly fair suggestion and definitely not one which requires medical treatment. Edited 22 November 2018 by Sampson 2

Ihaenacho - 32 games, 4 goals. Strange agument to make against Okazaki basing it purely on goals when his record is better than Nacho's. Edited 22 November 2018 by Sampson 1

Max Wall Posted 22 November 2018 Posted 22 November 2018 Kelechi Promise Iheanacho Key Performance Indicator suggests success at reaching current targets is negligible. I really want to like Nacho but he's struggling isn't he? I've said it before on here, I know he's young but I'm just not seeing enough.

He's got to get more involved in the penalty area action, fight and run for that space, and demand more of the ball, and drive forward. In simple terms he has to worry defences!!! Plus he has got to knock people off the ball, and not be the victim!! Edited 22 November 2018 by fuchsntf
TheLittleBigMan Posted 22 November 2018 Posted 22 November 2018 0-2 Surely we've got enough in the tank to beat these lot? Up the city

Popular Post Foxxed Posted 22 November 2018 Popular Post Posted 22 November 2018 (edited) I love Shinji but Nacho isn't going to improve by becoming even more intimate with his good faithful friend the bench. There's one thread on here complaining Iheanacho hasn't shined for us yet and there's another suggesting we don't play him. I think he had a stinker in his last international but I've no particular desire to watch him rot on the bench while we complain we have no decent backup strikers. By all indications we want to become the best team for youth development in the country. If we're going to do that we'll have to spend matches watching youngsters go through frustrating periods in the hope they end up like Chilwell. Sticking on a mid 30s strikers in his final year here aint going to much help youth development, though I'd obviously love to see the little guy play again. Deeg67 Posted 22 November 2018 Posted 22 November 2018 I would love to see Shinji get a start here. He looked the best he has all season against Burnley, and his enterprise and grit can provide something the side is currently lacking in the final third. 1

Ian Nacho Posted 22 November 2018 Posted 22 November 2018 No chance I'm having Gray up top again. Not a striker and if he does he would act more as a second striker.
DerbyshireFox Posted 22 November 2018 Posted 22 November 2018 If Maddison, Ghezzal and Vardy aren’t fit possibly a case for both Shinji and Nacho? Although there’s a video of Vardy diving around in goal today so his injury can’t be that bad https://mobile.twitter.com/LCFC/status/1065682577074331649
