Ghezzal is injured

I've only seen that he's got a leg injury but due to be assessed. Suggests to me there's a chance he might still play? :dunno:

It doesn't sound anything major and like he may be available, but I feel like he's been struggling since the world cup really.

Did he need vacation?

I'm staying with friends in Southwick, which is inbetween shoreham and Brighton, does anybody know if there are delays in that neck of the woods on the trains ? Seems there are people on here with good local knowledge

If only Shinji would teach Kelechi how to fall over every time he gets near the ball and score goals that don't hit the back of the net.....

Bit worrying we've already picked up so many injuries coming into the busiest time of the year! We do have a much stronger squad than last season (where we suffered greatly over the festive period) but was hoping we didn't have to dip in to our reserves just yet.

Still it's a great chance for squad players to show what they can do. It would be great if someone can make a name for themselves and get into first team contention with some great displays.

Just a bit nervous that with the emotional drain of the last few weeks plus injuries that we will drop more points than usual and get dragged into a relegation battle. Our team on paper is too good for that, but so many teams have made that mistake that you can't take it for granted. Case in point, our season after winning the title!

Don't want to be controversial, but I don't think Maguire is too much of a loss for this.

For me Evans has been decent so far, and I think we look more solid at the back with him there.

Yes he's a bit slow now but Murray isn't exactly blessed with pace either so I think he'll be OK.

I do hope that Vardy and Maddison will be fit though, as we're going to really struggle otherwise.

Yes I agree with this. Although I rate and like Maguire, there are times when he just needs to concentrate on his defending more I feel. Whilst I do like to see a ball playing centre half bring the ball out from the back, Maguire is sometimes so ponderously slow that by the time he's at the half way line all the opposition players are back in their own half and any runs by Vardy etc are missed or closed down. He then sometimes struggles to get back and puts pressure on his own defence. His forays forward should be less frequent for me as he often slows the flow of play down.

Stronger squad? Really? Less attackers and wingers both in numbers and quality. Shit loads more defenders though so at least our tight defence will see us right? ?

Vardy will play.

Good. A goal and an all round menacing display would be timely for him and us. Still think he's got 15+ goals in him this season.

"Albion midfielder Dale Stephens will miss Saturday's game at the Amex, as he serves the first game of his three-match suspension, following his red card at Cardiff last time out.

Hughton confirmed that Pascal Gross and Davy Propper are both back in training and available for selection this weekend, while Alireza Jahanbakhsh (hamstring) remains sidelined.

Leicester are expected to be without Harry Maguire (knee), but midfielder James Maddison (knee) could return to the fold after missing his team’s previous match.

Daniel Amartey (ankle) and Matty James (achilles) both remain sidelined for the visitors."

Interesting to see what side we turn out assuming the doubts are all out. I think one or two will be in the squad. I predict:

                          Kasper

Ricardo   Morgan    Evans   Chilwell

                    Ndidi     Mendy

    Albrighton   Iheanacho   Gray

                          Vardy

Subs: Ward, Simpson, Soyuncu, Fuchs, Iborra, Maddison, Okazaki.

Diabate starting for the under 23s so he won't be involved.

I was just coming to say this. I think it must be best case scenario in terms of injury fears as surely he would be at least travelling to see if he's needed tomorrow. Game on!

Gutted to be missing this as I am on a trans-Atlantic flight during the match - hope that we can put together something worth watching. Honestly feel like we’re turning a corner, though - so 2-1 to the visitors!

Have a feeling this will either be a poor performance but a narrow loss, or a big win via a great performance. The latter is due anytime soon.

Weather is going to be horrendous for this with very heavy rain before, during and after the match.

Away fans will be in for a treat as the away end gets ponchos handed out due to it not being fully covered.

Nampalys Mendy with a skimmer for the winner

No problems , i'd jump on the number 25 bus from there , drops right opposite the ground at the uni , but the trains look absolutely cluster for anyone wanting to get in or out of Brighton mainline (no change there)

Brighton are no pushover and Chris Hughton is very underated Manager. I'd take a draw right now but I also think we can win it if we're at it today.

The weather will possibly be a factor so our passing could be an advantage of a problem.

Hopefully 2-1 to us.

Anyone choosing Okazaki over Iheanacho need their heads looking at

I would have thought anyone with two Heads would have already taken medical advice.
