Why does it have to be a competition to everyone? Clearly Maddison will get his time and clearly Mount is exactly the sort of player England fans have been wanting to see given a chance.

Competition? 

Mount is the type of player we want to be given a chance, as is Maddison. I get annoyed when both are deserving of game time, but it's only given to one.

 

I have the exact same feeling for Rashford getting game time ahead of Wilson.

Yeah he pulled out with illness. 

 

I agree on different types of players, just ironic that Mount was brought on to play the position Maddison does for club.
