So is he actually injured, then?

I noticed him limping after going down for a (not given) "foul" earlier

Who else is he supposed to bring on?

Good sub for me, as good a sub as we can make

Agree, it’s all set up for Ghezzal though, we need a big performance from him.

If you took all footballing ability out of Mahrez you'd be left with Ghezzal

If you take Mahrez out of our team we look like this :(

I’m done with Puel now.

He’d suck the the liquid life out of my shit, so even the 5 minutes of enjoyment I get when the in laws come up would feel as dissatisfying as that horse shit of a first half.

I’m done.

We haven't regressed though have we. We are in a better place than we were. It's quite simply a fact, not even an argument.

The point really should be, will he ever progress us beyond a boring midtable premier league team.

The other question is, will anyone without regular substantial investment. Because it only takes a glance at form tables to see that everyone around us has been pretty much just as crap of not far worse of late.

We are an average side but our results are hardly average, draws at home to West Ham, Burnley, Away at Brighton and Fulham where, again, we had an absolutely shocking first half.  I agree with your point about finances and expenditure but a very poor Newcastle side finished near us last season, Bournemouth spend similar or less to us, Watford are hardly big spenders either and all look like they're picking up or middle improving. We don't look like we're getting better with Puel. He's had over a year, he's brought in players he wants but even with bigger expenditure do you think it won't be more of the same.

Results-wise if we weren't so cautious we'd pick up more points.

Anyone else think Maguire is in pain or something? Looks a bit odd when running

He’s been injured since the first minute...

If it stays this way, the tide will continue to turn against Puel.

It’s one thing playing turgid football and somehow picking up points. But when you are looking rubbish AND losing people get pissed off very quickly.

Chilwell is injured

I know but a few (or one, I can't remember) said they prefer Fuchs, very short sighted.
