Ghezzal starting reasonably well.

Ndidi needs replacing. Not his day today. Just wish we had someone a bit more creative than Iborra on the bench.

Just give Gray 4 more years, he'll come good. Just 4 more years, he'll still be young and inexperienced at 26, just have faith.

We are an average side but our results are hardly average, draws at home to West Ham, Burnley, Away at Brighton and Fulham where, again, we had an absolutely shocking first half.  I agree with your point about finances and expenditure but a very poor Newcastle side finished near us last season, Bournemouth spend similar or less to us, Watford are hardly big spenders either and all look like they're picking up or middle improving. We don't look like we're eating better with Puel. He's had over a year, he's brought in players he wants but even with bigger expenditure do you think it won't be more of the same.

Results-wise if we weren't so cautious we'd pick up more points.

The teams you mention have been bobbing about mid table for years. Hardly a massive up swing and at the start of today their form was hardly impressive!! IMG_5206.thumb.PNG.534e82406f5c7caf9d032fa53fb98f38.PNG

Don’t see the point in you lot blindly criticising. Ghezzal is looking lively to me and has made some decent passes. At least looks like he’s trying to make something happen. Don’t particularly rate him but come on get behind our own players

Always, always been Puel in... but I think if tragedy hadn’t struck we’d have a new manager by now, and we’re currently stuck feeling like we’re not able to make a decision.

I hope he comes good I really do. As I’ve said in transfer threads, if he doesn’t go all out to get a centre mid in Jan then I’ll lose faith as he clearly thinks playing two DM’s is fine...

It will be the squad who decide his fate. The thing is, we aren't in serious trouble (yet). We are just an average team. Results haven't been horrendously bad (our longest losing run is two) so they won't sack him based on that currently.

My concern is that we'll go on a bad run, then panic. If the people in charge have real issues they should act soon.

Our luck that Zaha isn't playing. Palace have been squandering some good chances going forward, they're just not that prolific without their topscorer.

Could or should be 2-0 down already.
