EnderbyFox Posted 21 December 2018 Posted 21 December 2018 There's no way back from here imo. Better to just get it over with.
foxinsox Posted 21 December 2018 Posted 21 December 2018 Sacking Puel put Southampton where they are. That could well be us. Indeed, I dont think that I have seen my last LCFC season in the second tier. I am not at all convinced that Puel has lost the dressing room.
Heymister2015 Posted 21 December 2018 Posted 21 December 2018 Leonardo Jardim would get Leicester playing exciting football
Stevosevic Posted 21 December 2018 Posted 21 December 2018 May as well just get it done if that's the case. He can't come back from that.

Disastrous appointment.
moore_94 Posted 21 December 2018 Posted 21 December 2018 Sack Puel, get someone interim until the end of the season, get Benkovic to bring Rodgers back down with him in the summer

Let's rephrase it and i'll give you some credit. Replacing him poorly put Southampton where they are now. Now, I'm gonna agree with everyone when they ask 'Who would you replace him with?'. I don't know, I can't answer that question but I said the other day i'd like to think the club always have a shortlist, always scouting and looking, even when things are going well i'd like to think it's happening. Have we appointed poorly in the past, yes, that's how we ended up with Puel, let's hope the power's that be have learnt.

UniFox21 Posted 21 December 2018 Posted 21 December 2018 Normally, when Percy talks you sit up and listen, but bits of this article seem a bit "pulled out of nowhere". The Pearson comment seems farfetched. He also looks to be reaching from things being said by Vardy et al. And all of these articles coming from one interview. Not believing a lot of it. The s*n wouldn't know something breaking if it hit them in the face. Edit look at the publication times, S*n is 10 mins after the first is tweeted out.

The_Rorab Posted 21 December 2018 Posted 21 December 2018 Truth or not, this just reinforces my distaste for player power. I'd rather the players gave it their all on the pitch and the managerial decisions be left to the board to make instead of being pressured to do so by player comments to press.
