Voll Blau Posted 4 April 2019 Posted 4 April 2019 Fun little game here, with the website keeping a running total as to who's been picked the most. Slightly surprised we're as high as 13th at the moment... https://www.football.london/premier-league/bring-back-leeds-relegate-everton-16071302

Yeah, I did as well, but I get the sense quite a lot of fans enjoy it because we're central, doable by train from a lot of places and most pubs near the station will let you in as long as you're not causing bother.
RonnieTodger Posted 4 April 2019 Posted 4 April 2019 Thought I'd chuck some decent aways and derbies in
stripeyfox Posted 4 April 2019 Posted 4 April 2019 Southampton and Norwich are questionable but all the others would provide decent viewing whoever is playing each other

Dan Posted 4 April 2019 Posted 4 April 2019 We're popular because we're in the middle of the country and have actually recently done something of note meaning that it's unlikely we'd be ignored. It'd be "ah yeah they won the league recently actually, you can't really not include them" I'd imagine.
CosbehFox Posted 4 April 2019 Posted 4 April 2019 It's a toughie. I could do with an away day slant and end up with Lincoln, Barnsley and Southend. Equally, I could go for distribution across history, pedigree and size. End up with Stripey's
Dan Posted 4 April 2019 Posted 4 April 2019 Do like Stripey's. As much as I insist Derby & Forest can do one it would be decent having some derbies. Our second nearest away at the minute is Watford. It's a bit of a ****er having three South coast clubs as well. I like a bit of geographical variety hence why I'm happy enough with Norwich. I'd actually take one of the Welsh two as well as much as plenty will slate me for that.

Decent stadium too Portsmouth is a better city I find for watching football than Southampton but the stadium is a dump. I'd have Brighton in over the pair of them on away day city alone but the stadium is located poorly.
StanSP Posted 4 April 2019 Posted 4 April 2019 1 Arsenal 2 Aston Villa 3 Bournemouth 4 Chelsea 5 Crystal Palace 6 Everton 7 Leeds 8 Leicester 9 Liverpool 10 Man City 11 Man Utd 12 Newcastle 13 Norwich 14 Nottm Forest 15 Sheffield Utd 16 Sunderland 17 Tottenham 18 Watford 19 West Ham 20 Wolves
syston_fox Posted 4 April 2019 Posted 4 April 2019 Mine is as follows: Arsenal Villa Bournemouth Chelsea Palace Everton Leicester Liverpool Man City Man Utd Newcastle Norwich Southampton Stoke Sunderland Swansea Spurs Watford West Brom West Ham All the teams from 2015/16 - it was the perfect season!!

Brighton vs Southampton was a close call too, went for Southampton based on top flight pedigree.

Meaning I'd rather watch Leeds v Derby on a Sunday afternoon than Swansea v Wigan West Brom, Blackburn, Crystal Palace etc would be vying for a spot too
Stadt Posted 4 April 2019 Posted 4 April 2019 Good away days, lots of midlands clubs, good rivalries and no wet teams like Bournemouth or Watford. Bristol City were probably the only club I debated over

BenTheFox Posted 4 April 2019 Posted 4 April 2019 Went for this one. Would have included West Ham over either Norwich or QPR if it wasn't for their shambles of a stadium.
Nalis Posted 4 April 2019 Posted 4 April 2019 I put Bristol City in mine purely for the away day, Bristol's some spot.
