I've always thought that we must be a pretty dull away day.

Yeah, I did as well, but I get the sense quite a lot of fans enjoy it because we're central, doable by train from a lot of places and most pubs near the station will let you in as long as you're not causing bother.

Southampton and Norwich are questionable but all the others would provide decent viewing whoever is playing each other

Exactly what I chose.

We're popular because we're in the middle of the country and have actually recently done something of note meaning that it's unlikely we'd be ignored. It'd be "ah yeah they won the league recently actually, you can't really not include them" I'd imagine.

It's a toughie. I could do with an away day slant and end up with Lincoln, Barnsley and Southend.

Equally, I could go for distribution across history, pedigree and size. End up with Stripey's

Do like Stripey's. As much as I insist Derby & Forest can do one it would be decent having some derbies. Our second nearest away at the minute is Watford. It's a bit of a ****er having three South coast clubs as well.

I like a bit of geographical variety hence why I'm happy enough with Norwich. I'd actually take one of the Welsh two as well as much as plenty will slate me for that.

Sunderland out possibly and Cardiff/Bristol in. Bristol be a great away day - not quite as far as Wales. Decent stadium too

Portsmouth is a better city I find for watching football than Southampton but the stadium is a dump. I'd have Brighton in over the pair of them on away day city alone but the stadium is located poorly.

Same here but chose West Brom over Wolves because it's a better away day. Brighton vs Southampton was a close call too, went for Southampton based on top flight pedigree.

yeah I was thinking more from a "ideal" PL based on marketability I guess too. Meaning I'd rather watch Leeds v Derby on a Sunday afternoon than Swansea v Wigan

West Brom, Blackburn, Crystal Palace etc would be vying for a spot too

Good away days, lots of midlands clubs, good rivalries and no wet teams like Bournemouth or Watford. Bristol City were probably the only club I debated over
