KrefelderFox666 Posted 12 April 2019 Posted 12 April 2019 Was thinking about this before the match. We seem incapable of performing when live on TV. This season's stats: Man U 2-1 Leicester LOSS Leicester 1-2 Liverpool LOSS Arsenal 3-1 Leicester LOSS Leicester 1-1 West Ham DRAW Leicester 0-2 Tottenham LOSS Leicester 1-1 Man City (Cup) DRAW Everton 0-1 Leicester WIN Newport 2-1 Leicester (Cup) LOSS Wolves 4-3 Leicester LOSS Liverpool 1-1 Leicester DRAW Leicester 0-1 Man U LOSS Tottenham 3-1 Leicester LOSS Leicester 1-4 Crystal Palace LOSS Watford 2-1 Leicester LOSS Leicester 0-1 Newcastle LOSS 1 win, 3 draws (with a penalty shootout loss) and 11 losses. That is poor. Two more TV games to come.
smitha Posted 12 April 2019 Posted 12 April 2019 5 points out of 39 does not make good reading, just need to get this season over and start over. On a plus side at least it might reduce Tielemans price
shailen Posted 12 April 2019 Posted 12 April 2019 Even the game we won against Everton we were shocking.

HybridFox Posted 12 April 2019 Posted 12 April 2019 And now Maddison is gonna be on Soccer AM tomorrow
SouthStandUpperTier Posted 12 April 2019 Posted 12 April 2019 On the plus side, we must be ****ing boss when we're not on TV. Amirite?
Blue ROI Posted 12 April 2019 Posted 12 April 2019 We won our last 2 live games on Sky Sports Ireland. Fulham and Burnley last month.

Poor Alan Green must have wondered what he had done to have to commentate on that shocker of a game.
Dan Posted 12 April 2019 Posted 12 April 2019 It's freaky how bad our record on TV is this season. On the flip side our record off it must be as good as anyone's.

KrefelderFox666 Posted 12 April 2019 Author Posted 12 April 2019 Basically, tell Sky and BT to feck off and stop putting us on and we'll automatically slip into the top 4.
don_danbury Posted 12 April 2019 Posted 12 April 2019 pretty much all under puel. cant even judge anything by that yet.
Russell sprout Posted 12 April 2019 Posted 12 April 2019 8th home defeat of the season, that’s shocking for us when you think Newcastle,Cardiff and Southampton have beat us here
shailen Posted 12 April 2019 Posted 12 April 2019 Just now, Russell sprout said: 8th home defeat of the season, that’s shocking for us when you think Newcastle,Cardiff and Southampton have beat us here Almost 50% of our home games we have lost - 8/17 to date which shows how good our away form must be to even be in contention for 7th.
Guy Posted 12 April 2019 Posted 12 April 2019 I was posting about this very real fact on Facebook earlier as regard our season's performances in front of a live, national TV audience! We haven't played well in front of the glare of Sky's live match cameras all season long (Liverpool away aside), the BBC's (the Newport FA Cup debacle) or BT's - and so in spite of our current form it was no real surprise that we followed suit tonight too.
FoyleFox Posted 12 April 2019 Posted 12 April 2019 Delighted the Man City game has now been moved and will be on tv That's going to go well Someone needs to write an open letter to Sky and BT begging for our games not to be televised

broughtonblue Posted 13 April 2019 Posted 13 April 2019 My mrs asked me if I'd set it to record last night so we could watch it back and I'd forgotten, thank God ?
Japanfox Posted 13 April 2019 Posted 13 April 2019 I can remember from the 90s when there was a local live match, we'd more than often lose it. We are certainly cursed. What did we do to get this curse is the question?

Sir Shep Posted 13 April 2019 Posted 13 April 2019 Something I’d noticed as well, really does my head in, even when we play teams we should be beating (cough Newport) we just turn into chocolate feet!
Grey Fox Posted 13 April 2019 Posted 13 April 2019 I'm not sure if it's being televised itself that seems to make a difference to our mentality. Or if it's the move of the kick off times away from the standard ones that somehow upsets our preparation? Never the less, as long as I can remember, we have always seemed absolutely dreadful when a game is moved for TV. Apart from the title season, which wasn't normal anyway.
