Shouldn't be writing off the older generations so soon. People are living longer with better healthcare, diets and many are giving up smoking.

The PA is far far too loud (as well as unclear) - a real assault on the ears and one that I'm sure your average audiologist would frown upon.

To be honest I'd be happy for the only noise in the stadium - before and during the match - to be made by the fans.

I don't much care for Liverpool but in that respect they get it pretty much spot on.

I dread it if they interview a kid at half time. It's like being at a softplay in hell.

I thought the PA man for the Arsenal game was an improvement. The guy who did the interviews (badly) at victoria park, has started going round with the t-shirt guys more recently at half time, its really awkward. He can't stop saying 'There we go' and 'Boom'. I really hope he isn't lined up to be Birch's replacement.

I miss those announcements. The best one was when he announced for someone to go to the infirmary after the game as his wife was in labour, I think we were only mid way in the first half lol

To be fair he could have jogged to LRI, patted the new baby on the head as it was popping out and still made it back for half time

You mean where they blast Gerry and the pace makers over the PA system before the game? How would they manage this without a decent PA system.

Yup. Fair 'Kop' ?

I never hear it because I’m too busy singing and chanting, if you can hear it you your the reason the atmosphere is crap and you need to clear off and let the people have tickets who won’t hear it (that doesn’t include old deaf people).

Feel better for that?

Young mutes?

Which would be a great name for a band btw!

Bad timing putting players messages on during the lap. Should have got the players to say a few words on the mic then played the messages. Then done the lap later.

It's terrible.

Never forget our first home game in the Champions League being super excited to hear the music blasting out but instead it sounded like someone had it playing on their phone in their coat pocket.

I used to love Birch's pre-match motivational ramble. The combination of his mumbling and our shit sound system meant I didn't get a word of it but it still got me fired up.

He congratulated Chelsea on winning the European Cup and then just said blue army about 175 times.

It's not really the sound system thats the problem

The issue is the one time they had it turned up so you could actually hear it, the match after it was upgraded, people complained it was like a nightclub and they couldnt hear each other speak pre match, and kicked up such a fuss that they've had it turned down pre game ever since

Not sure how they could have got it so wrong after how Wasyl was handled. It seemed like they had the idea we needed these free gifts just to get us to stick around too, last season was the first time that had happened for a few reasons, bad timing as its usually on the last match of the season, not last but one, and the majority were disillusioned with Puel after another awful home performance.

She was there at Chelsea?

Just meant when her awful version of we are the champions kept cutting off.

A few seconds of relief inbetween what felt like a North Korean torture
