Koke Posted 23 May 2019 Posted 23 May 2019 Danny Welbeck Juan Mata Andy Carroll Daniel Sturridge 3 of the 4 above are injury prone and past it. Mata will go to a CL/EL club. It's been a while since we signed a decent free agent (Hello Marc).
kingcarr21 Posted 23 May 2019 Posted 23 May 2019 Wages are the real stumbling block. I could see Sturridge absolutely flourish here especially under Rodgers and the way we play. I would certainly look at taking a punt on him providing wages are reasonable. You would think there would be room for negotiation regarding wages with their injury records. 2

Jon the Hat Posted 23 May 2019 Posted 23 May 2019 Sturridge would add something for sure. Wellbeck I am not sure, I like his work rate, maybe a bit of a Shinji replacement?
North Leeds Fox Posted 23 May 2019 Posted 23 May 2019 James Milner would be a good signing if he doesn't sign a new contract. brahimi would also be a good back up. 1

Herrera if we couldn't get Tielemans is probably the only one i'd want without any concern. Brahimi I can't help but feel would flop here, he's a strange character and his style of play would rile our fans. On his day he is obscene though. 1

See for me I think if we made a strong interest in Van De Beek I honestly think we would stand a chance in getting him. 1

coolhandfox Posted 23 May 2019 Posted 23 May 2019 Welbeck if you could keep him fit would be very useful 1
Scotch Posted 23 May 2019 Posted 23 May 2019 Isn't Matteo Darmian a free transfer? Could be decent back up for Ricardo...

TiffToff88 Posted 23 May 2019 Posted 23 May 2019 Already been discussed at length in the Twitter Rumours thread
BenTheFox Posted 23 May 2019 Posted 23 May 2019 I lose all reason over this one. He's 35, on massive wages and injury prone. On the other hand it's ****ing Arjen Robben so GERRIMIN 2
