not so sure it’s a great deal for Man U, 35 million for a 29 year old who started his career at a very young age, and has never been the fittest/most athletic.

I cant see them getting more than a couple of years out of him at the required levels.

Depends on whether Carrick will be strong on fitness. No doubt that Emery was very tough and demanding in him, he faded in his last 18 months with us and nobody was determined enough to sort it out.

HSV are a bundesliga side and are one of the biggest clubs in Germany despite having spent several years in tge second tier recently. Mental that they'd be interested in Daka. I didn't think the Bundesliga was in THAT bad of a place.

It will be interesting to see where he ends up, already had a trial at Sheff Wed this summer

 

If only he hadn't seemingly had some sort of falling out in the 23/24 season - something about not being played whilst he wouldn't sign a new contract or something like that

 

Really gone downhill for him since then

Whilst I didn’t rate him as a Premier League player, he was an international player and I’ve been surprised he didn’t get a move to a Championship / Scottish team after Turkey.

 

I’ve assumed we paid him that well, he’d semi retired.

He has a very good injury record. I suspect downturn in performances were largely a mental thing. 

Everybody had a downturn in form over his last 18 months here. Not sure that's a stain on him.
