I keep saying it, but we've got, and have had serious issues with player fitness since Rodgers walked through the door. What on earth do they feed the players down at Seagrave, Sausage Rolls?!? Tielemans looks about 3 stone lighter than the overweight version we had running through treacle. Haven't watched Villa for a while but barely recognised him. Until we overhaul the fitness team we'll continue to struggle I'm afraid.

Tielemans never looks bothered by the occasion when it comes to long shots - has a really good ability to just focus on the technique.

Still don’t know how a team with the likes of Tielemans, Maddison, Barnes, Vardy, KDH, Castagne, Perreira, Evans, Nacho, and Ndidi were relegated. Was it all down to Ward, Amartey and Thomas?

Tielemans looks a lot leaner and fitter than when he was with us. He can actually run now, and his look of being knackered and running in sand seems to have disappeared.  Just goes to show what a top level coach can do.

Blame goes to Rogers for checking out and players could see Rudkin and Top were soft as shit

He was overplayed in the final season here by Rodgers and physically wasn’t up to it as the season progressed. He attracted huge criticism towards the end of his time here but he was some player for us at his best.

Someone on the Europa league thread said Emery told Tielemans to get fit if wants to get to play. Compare that to soft touch Leicester

Evans and Ricardo were barely ever fit — so from that list you're left with Castagne being the only defender. Which means the keeper as well as 3/4s of any starting defence were not PL standard most of the time.

Fair play to Youri, top player. But **** me does this piss me off. This season has compounded so much shit, and the more I see of ex players doing well, the angrier I get. I thought I'd become numb to it, but I genuinely can't watch anything football related at the moment without getting myself riled up about it. Being on here probably doesn't help mind 😂
