Grebfromgrebland Posted 24 July 2019 Share Posted 24 July 2019 It's all set up for a Tory brexit party alliance. The Tories need more support. They'll get that from the brexit party as long as we go for no deal brexit and completely screw the country as much as possible. Might even demand a one way free trade deal with the US at the same time. That means Farage will be deputy PM. The those of you too ****ing thick or blind the trade deal the US wants will not benefit the UK in any way shape or form. It will be a one way agreement where they access our health system, food and pharmaceutical industry on their terms with no legal come back for any thing. Even our own government won't be able to be sued. The US has already said we won't have free access to their markets. If anyone still wants brexit after knowing this then you are a traitor to yourself, your family and country.
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 24 July 2019 Share Posted 24 July 2019 If there’s one ray of sunshine to take from Boris’ new look government it’s the dispensing of Grayling... although I fear the smug, useless got won’t be in the wilderness for long. lifted*fox Posted 24 July 2019 Share Posted 24 July 2019 just let it sink in though dominic raab, who didn't understand the importance of the dover > calais crossing in regards to trade... is now your foreign secretary. how does anyone think that either: a) that's acceptable b) it's a genuinely intelligent appointment by johnson c) he's proven he's remotely capable of fulfilling the role priti patel who is on paper for the following: 1. doesn't support same sex marriage 2. was sacked for going behind her own government's back 3. supports the death penalty and hanging is now your home secretary. how is that appropriate? it's clear that johnson is surrounding himself with failed yes men / women looking to get back into a job this government won't last 5 seconds. it's not funny, it's not a joke - it's people's futures, savings, house prices, etc. going down the toilet in front of everyone's eyes. you're literally supporting your own downfall by continuing to pretend this is what you wanted. at what point do people admit they were wrong and that this is a national disaster? 2

At least there won’t be any high level national secrets available for him to leak. DJ Barry Hammond Posted 24 July 2019 Share Posted 24 July 2019 At least with this cabinet, with Rees-Mogg rumoured to be getting Leader of the House, Brexit theory will be put solidly to the test. There is no escaping from what’s in power - so Farage and the fledgling Brexit Party might be in a difficult spot, because if this bunch can’t get Brexit done, I’m not sure how they can argue differently. This line up will test the EU’s resolve, no doubt about that - but from what I was hearing from Johnson, it seemed he wanted Brexit in name only by 31st Oct And was pinning hopes on sorting stuff out through a transition period. And i’m not sure how plausible ‘no-deal’ is - because the UK needs some sort of a deal at some point. We won’t just stop trading with EU countries. Innovindil Posted 24 July 2019 Share Posted 24 July 2019 https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-49102466 Is the speech at the top of this the one everyone is talking about? I quite liked it, yeah it's a bit we'll fight em on the beaches, but it was what was required 3 years ago. Whilst I think May really did try her best, it was always going to be impossible with a remain PM.

UniFox21 Posted 24 July 2019 Share Posted 24 July 2019 Not hugely itk with politics, but from what i can tell this seems like a badd appointment. In a time the country is so polarised, they've appointed one of the most polarizing politicians around.
