Still remember it well. I was right in front of where Cambiasso scored, and the look on his face, elevation, passion, determination all rolled into one.

What a guy

Yesterday was 10 years since the start of the great escape.

FB reminded me of the day. I'd decided not to watch the game as I'd basically resigned myself to relegation, and go for a nice lunch and then an exhibition of rugs (no really) with my girlfriend. However, curiosity got the better of me and I still found myself checking the lineup and the first few minutes of the game. I got back home in time for the second half and the rest is history. Who could've imagined the insanity of the next 13 months.

It was of course the first game after the reburial of Richard III.

10 years! Where has that time gone. Feels like yesterday.

Feels longer when you think about everything that's happened in the world since then

On this day, nine years ago Paddy Power took the absolute piss out of all the pearl clutchers, up and down the country...

Oh and we also sacked Ranieri...

On this day (well yesterday) 29 years ago we played the second leg of the League Cup semi final away at Wimbledon. There were 10,000 City fans packed into the Arthur Wait stand and in my 50 odd years of watching City it was the best and noisiest following I have seen. Anyone else there?

Yep, we absolutely took over Selhurst Park that night. Brilliant scenes at fulltime, great memories.

This was 5 years ago today, reaching our first FA Cup final in 52 years

I have been thinking about this recently and wonder if missing out en masse on these occasions has added to the frustration as we are extremely unlikely to be back there again.
