And to think the club thought it was still good business to bring in Vestagaard and Bertrand after that pasting lol

Well bertrand was only playing until we scored. And vestergaard was pulled at a mere 0-5 ….

Milan Mandaric has formally stood down as chairman of Leicester City ahead of his buy-out of Sheff Wed.

Serb set for Sheffield Wednesday role

Milan Mandaric has formally stood down as chairman of Leicester City ahead of his buy-out of Sheffield Wednesday. The former Portsmouth owner, who sold his controlling stake in Leicester earlier this year, was still chairman of the Foxes. But he has now sealed a deal to take over Sheffield Wednesday and, as such, he has relinquished his role with Leicester. "Leicester City will always be in my heart. This club is Premier League in everything but name,"

Whilst Milan mandaric was chasing after a 34 year old Bruno N’Gotty, the Srivaddhanaprabha’s were signing Wesley Fofana for 30m .

EDIT: most obvious copy and paste of a surname ever

18 years since the debut of Mark de Vries and Alan Maybury.

Remember being so eager to watch De Vries, thinking we'd signed the striker to take us back to the Premier League.

Also the last match for Kevin Pressman.

On this day last year we were in Aarhus for a few days break to take in our game in Randers. One of the better away games for the atmosphere created by our travelling fans.

6 years ago in Sevilla  - brilliant trip for those who didn’t get beaten by the plod

which means this thread will be revisited tomorrow …..

Fabulous trip, we were lucky enough to do 4 nights so saw quite a bit of a lovely city, sadly despite every effort I failed to get a ticket but watched it in a little bar in the backstreet mainly full of locals who were great.

Imagine if that happened today; environmental protesters would be livid at how many trees were lost during this process..
