Suffolk exile Posted 22 September 2019 Posted 22 September 2019 I agree with those suggesting that this is probably safe, with Pep's usual 'tinkering' with his line-ups, I don't see it happening.
Chester Dontlie Posted 22 September 2019 Posted 22 September 2019 There's no need to panic guys. Vardy's record is safe. Schlupperman will take care of it
Collymore Posted 22 September 2019 Posted 22 September 2019 Well the biggest hope he misfires will be Liverpool away which happens to be the 11th game!!?
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 24 September 2019 Posted 24 September 2019 Don’t worry lads, I’ll bring Ageuro into my dream team and play him as captain. That will put the kiss of death on him 😂

Just watched the programme Premier League Match Pack a half hour long programme that previews the upcoming matches and is broadcast by both Sky and BT Sport so it’s bound to be factual and have all their stats right....A couple of minutes into this evenings programme they remark on Aguero scoring against Watford last week and it being his 7th Premier League goal in consecutive matches QUOTE ....the first player to do that since Romelu Lukaku in 2015.......Thought I was hearing things but rewound and have listened to it several times...So much so I now believe them and am distraught 😩. Going to the pub to sink a few beers and drown away my memories . What next 2015/2016 never happened... Total incompetence by whoever produces this programme 😡😡 They are correct. Lukaku's run if seven straight games finished in December 2015, after Vardy scored 11. So Aguero is the first to score in 7 straight games since Lukaku is 2015.
irishfoxkev Posted 27 September 2019 Author Posted 27 September 2019 Apologies....thanks for clearing that up....better check my research before I post again......Still going to pub though 😂😂
Stevosevic Posted 28 September 2019 Posted 28 September 2019 Aguero on the bench today. Hopefully he'll come on and not score

Sampson Posted 28 September 2019 Posted 28 September 2019 Yeah of course its consecutive games played in. Ideal for us if is he comes on with 1 minute to go and doesnt get a kick.
foxfanazer Posted 28 September 2019 Posted 28 September 2019 Shows just what an incredible achievement it was that even a striker in a team that creates as many chances as Man City do can't get close to Vardy's record
SystonFox Posted 28 September 2019 Posted 28 September 2019 People were genuinely worried about this haha. As if. Vardy is the GOAT. It’s eleven it’s heaven

If he started ever single week I'm sure he'd have a great chance, but Pep will rest him every so often and that "game" becomes 20 minutes or so.

Doubt it will be beaten for a while
