Even BBC are struggling to justify it and having to say it doesn't look like handball.

Because it isn't.

Apparently they literally had one look and decided it was a penalty.

But surely had to be a clear obvious error ?

It’s an absolute non-event. Literally nothing has happened.

The VAR officials have jumped on the chance, with the league officials no doubt on their shoulders or in their ears and gone fully in.

It goes down to one big game at Scotlands biggest ground and likely generates an extra few hundred grand, possible millions.

Corrupt. It needs calling out for what it is.

The ball goes flying away like it’s come off the head (which it has) No Celtic players even appealed hahaha.

You feel for Hearts but unfortunately calls were made and you’re powerless against these things. Massive fix and it needs to be called out

I swear you cannot go a day without something dodgy ruining something you might otherwise enjoy. Even if you stop paying attention to sports, the corrupting force of money creeps into every facet of life.

By the way, I was really impressed by Motherwell. Doubt we have any chance of tempting their manager to League One but would love to see us playing brave, high energy, attacking football like that next season.

Yeah, that ball travels a long way off a stationary arm.

Feels more like he heads the ball whilst his arm is there too in a jumping up action.

Unsurprisingly O’Neil thinks it’s a penalty.

Does that penalty affect the table though? Celtic would still need a win either way.

Motherwell still need to get a point at Hibs.

Did I miss something or was that penalty inconsequential?

Edit: just seen the BBC match report which explains that it means Celtic no longer have to win by three goals. My brain somehow thought that Celtic's GD was superior.

Listening to everyone of a Celtic persuasion claiming it is a penalty is sickening as well. People like O’Neill, Scott Brown, Bonner. They should actually be called out by the other pundits and managers for being dishonest. You can see it’s bounced off his head, why lie? Just admit you’ve had a slice of luck you didn’t deserve.

Celtic now only have to win 1-0 instead of 3-0.

Simple - hits hand, penalty..:ph34r::dunno:

Either way, it was very risky to put his hand that up in the first place tbh.
