Hang on a minute. We just lost 0-1 to Plymouth we are creating little. Our wingers are so predictable. Your saying the Albrighton / Vardy partnership doesn’t exist anymore because I’m pretty sure we saw it pretty recently work

If the current wingers are predictable then **** knows what Albrighton is. When did we last see the Vardy albrighton partnership never mind see it work?

Wasn't it the Birmingham cup game?

He assisted Vardy in the cup against Birmingham, but hasn't assisted him in a league game since September 2019.

I’d start him. The way we play (with basically no right back) he’d make us more solid defensively as well as providing decent options attacking wise

Fatawuu coming on as a sub against a tired defence is a bonus plus he needs resting

But we’d still be playing with no right back, playing albrighton isn’t going to fix that, it’s on Enzo to realise that’s what opposition teams are targeting. We’d have a not match sharp albrighton kicking the ball at their centre halves. There’s nothing he adds to this team that mavididi and fatawu cant do better, we’re massive bottle jobs but it’s not like we’re not creating chances

He'll do well to make the match day squad, let alone see the pitch. Simply doesn't fit into 'The Idea'.

True. However, the current idea isn't actually up to very much. However flawed, no doubt persistence will be the order of the day.

He’s not as good as mavididi or fatawu so what’s the point playing him for sentimental reasons?

Not as dynamic, but at least he can cross a ball.

For all the fancy stuff that Mavadidi and Fatawu do, their crossing and  final ball are appalling 99 per cent of the time.

Some outrageous comments in here.

This league isn’t about just talent, the last few weeks have shown that in abundance.

Marc is the last remaining source of fight, determination and spirit in our team (Jamie’s had it knocked out of him!)

We didn’t get promoted in 2014 on talent alone.

We didn’t survive 2015 on talent alone.

We didn’t do the unbelievable in 2016 on talent alone.

Id love to have him in the squad at the minute, but he’ll go off script and Enzo won’t like that….

Comments about him not getting a gig in league 1/2? **** off. He’s a club legend, plenty of clubs in this league right now would snap your hand off for him.

He’ll probably be yet another legend we don’t get a chance to give a proper send off to.

Absolutely agree with all that, a tragic waste of talent. Delusions of Rodgers proportions.

Kevin might not be the answer in this formation as Fatawu has to track back to cover an area which is usually left open by Faes.  Albrighton going forward always looks to get the ball in dangerous areas quickly. Mavadidi and Fatawu slow it down to try and skin 4 players.  While they both clearly have the finesse to curl it in the top corner, I feel they give themselves too long to pull the trigger on instinct and end up cutting the ball back, which usually ends up with Winks sending it backwards.

If it isn’t working then you have to try something different. Albrighton always gets overlooked at the start of a managers reign or season. Marc is a much underated player and the on pitch chemistry between him and Vardy is worth trying if we need something different. IMO.

btw. I do think fatawu and mavidid have been good acquisitions and should start whenever possible. But it doesn’t always work and people have off days particularly given the gruelling schedule.
