oxford blue Posted 25 January 2020 Posted 25 January 2020 Has there been a better free transfer in than Christian Fuchs? I am struggling to think of one; the contribution he has made to our success since he signed in 2015 has been invaluable- - and was our best player today. Any other ideas?
HighPeakFox Posted 25 January 2020 Posted 25 January 2020 I suppose it depends what criteria you use, but Fuchs has a lot in favour of him. Albrighton has also been tremendous value, both as a player and good squad member. Wasn't Cambiasso free? That was slightly good value.

shailen Posted 25 January 2020 Posted 25 January 2020 Think Albrighton for me. Fuchs has been great no doubt and is a close second but Albrighton was a major reason why we stayed up in 2014/15 and pivotal in our title win in 2015/16

Signed for free & played for free. Both with pivotal roles in a side that finished 2nd in the Championship on 92 points.
