I've just read an article written by the Daily Record that Rodgers had asked Dembele in the summer of 2018 whether he'd be interested in joining him at Leicester? It sounds like their relationship is irreparable then really, unless they've since had contact behind the scenes, which they may well have done during lockdown. I've been thinking he'd be a good signing for us since he broke through at Fulham so I'd definitely be happy with it if he and Rodgers can let bygones be bygones. Dembele seems to have went up a level since he’s went to Lyon and overcome his hamstring issues. At the moment the Edouard of the last 6 months is hitting heights even beyond what Dembele did at Celtic, but it’s hard to say how good Dembele is now in comparison as he’s playing in a stronger league in France.
