Where’s Ndidi?

He's playing in a 2 man midfield protecting a donkey defence of Justin, Bennett, Evans and Fuchs.

What do you want him to do?

What he used to do?

His tracking back is good and he can win a tackle but his passing? His passing is woeful.  Even short simple passes are weak and are played behind the player which often slows attacks down.

He might win the ball 20 times a game, but he'll give it away 15 times.

If you remember before he played at the base of a midfield 3, he would struggle to play with the ball because he had to be an outlet offensively.

He's not the kind of player who can play in a midfield 2, he's not good enough technically.

I think he's the best pure defensive midfielder in the league, and that should be his role.

How his he not? Too many not pulling their weight, his form is also out of the window.

Even in a two man midfield he should be able to do a job, win the ball, lay it off, keep it simple.

But he'd have to do that further up the pitch, which means he has to also be available for the pass and to try and play decisively forwards, which is not his game.

In a midfield 3 that is exactly what he does, he screens our defence, sweeps up and lays it off.

I'm usually Mr Panic number 1 but this is all hilarious. Still gonna be a successful season. Every team has a shit spell at some point in every season.

It's a shame it had to be now but we're still going in the right direction generally.

He's not getting the blame but he's been poor since the restart yet gets a free pass from some fans. Nothing wrong with acknowledging his poor performances.

Why does this thread mean he's getting blamed rather than just asking why his performance levels have dropped?

He was playing really well last night until Kasper booted it at his arse I thought.

Easy to forget he's still only 23, of all the players to go at here Wilf is a bad choice.

Sense.

He's got a newborn baby. It wrecked Vardy's form for a bit too. We'd be even more screwed without him. He comes across as a big fan of Rodgers in interviews, let's hope he wasn't too upset by Rodgers unjustified comments about his best mate.

I love Wilf but he has played like a headless chicken for the past few games. Most of his tackles seem to come after he has just given the ball away himself. For every good, accurate pass, there are two sloppy ones.

Like most of his teammates, I think he has a character flaw in that he responds badly to adversity.

personally think he’s been the same as always, ball winning monster but gives the ball away too much. that’s just how ndidi is no?

He was brilliant first half last night, as he has been for much of the season. He can’t do it all himself all the while and most of the damage last night was caused from others cocking up behind him. Are you expecting him to control that ball from Kasper?

One of the few things that went our way last night was him not seeing a straight red because then we’d have been even more buggered for the last three games.

To be fair to Ndidi he is winning headers and dispossessing the opposition the same way he always has done. He just stands out now because it seems that all of our midfield are incapable of being creative with the ball. Ndidi is doing the same job he has done for the past few seasons.
