This is going to sound terrible. I thought he meant Rodrigo. I'm a clown, what a silly thing to say.

I support the team's recent strategy of focusing on younger players/prospects rather than 'established' names.

And... $30m for a 29 year old?  Rather spend that on another Fofana (if that type of prospect can be found, of course).

Edit:  24 y/o vs 29 y/o makes a huge difference.

To a full referee. It would certainly be debated and I can imagine it would cause friction between the old school footy fans perhaps.

Stephanie Frappart was legendary. She officiated in mens champions leugues too and was always fair and let play run as well as possible.

Doesn’t work like that - if you are a top linesmen, you are a level 3 ref. She will have started ref training and then made the conscious decision to be a Lino. She’s in a team now with Kavanagh as ref and they do European games. So id expect her to remain a lino in the hope of big European and international games

Loads of good attacking options for Southgate and England .

Obviously Kane/Sterling/Rashford will be the main men up front but might be interesting to see who else gets called up .

Kane, Sterling, Sancho, Rashford, Foden, Maddison, Grealish however you look at it that's some talent England have! It's an exciting time for the national team... It's a shame Southgate has to ruin it lol

Patty Bamford for England.

Those deluded folk who hurt my feelings by calling him shit back in 2015 are obviously regretting that now.

That will be a bit hard now considering he’s 27.

Patty Bamford is World Class mate, better than Harry Kane.

Take him to the Euros we win it, don’t take him to the Euros we’ll be out in the Group Stage.

That pitch is dreadful. You can tell the leeds scum have trained on it heavily as they are not falling over anywhere near as much as palace or their last game. Cheating gits...

It was a joke.

Bamford better than Kane? That's a little over optimistic. Bamford is used to charging up the pitch with little or no formation with the rest of his team. Put him in the England team and he won't know what he's doing because they dont play that way.

Two completely different teams.

There're strikers in the championship better than Bamford let's be real. A lucky purple patch doesn't make up for a lack of ability and quality.

This... he is not world class and not close to kane, a few good games and people actually believe he is that good lol

There's a new striker every year that has a good season and is talked up far too much. Last season it was Puki this season it's Bamford. The great strikers do it year after year I'd only put Kane and Vardy in that category as far as England strikers go.

Yes - probably end up with 3 defensive midfielders against the Scots .

You won’t be saying that when he scores the winner in the Euros Final.

We all know Southgate won't play him over Tammy Abraham and Mason Greenwood anyway. He doesn't play for the right team. So I can confidently say that won't happen.
