He was part of the Premier League creation which introduced them. Simon Jordan has called him out on this many times.

I've always wanted smaller clubs to get promoted. Never understood people who were eager to see bigger clubs (Newcastle, Villa, Leeds etc) come up. These bigger clubs could potentially be a problem for us, as they would operate in our space. Barnsley, Bournemouth, Brighton, Swansea, Brentford will be bottom half fodder and will never be a threat to us. 

 

So I'm glad to see any of the 4 play off teams come up.

Don Goodman is making some odd comments. Said if they missed the pen it was all over for them. But they would only need 2 goals to go to ET. Also said it wasn’t a pen.

They always have been. I'm not watching but I'd expect Adam Smith to be at the heart of it.
