However I detest Man United and I really want them to lose this evening. Villareal I'm fairly neutral about I just want United to lose. I'm wondering what changed? Off the top of my head: The teams back then were largely home grown, so it was a bit more us v them. The media were not as biased towards the big UK based clubs during the season, so there was more goodwill towards them.
