Looking at getting some wireless headphones (mainly for gym use) but not sure which to get. Are Airpods the best out there are they just another typical overpriced apple product? Also are they compatible with Huawei (android phones)

I know it's a bit of a dull thread but wasn't sure where else to ask on here

I have literally no idea which ones to get but I'd simply go to the What HiFi website and look at the best buys/award winners.  I've done this with loads of different kit over (it pains me to say) nearly 30 years and I've never bought anything I didn't think was great.

I think with headphones it's worth also checking out the Amazon reviews as sometimes things get a good write up but then you read that actual users have them fall apart after 5 minutes.

Personally I don't think it's worth spending crazy money on headphones. Spending £250 on headphones to listen to Spotify that doesn't even sound that good in the first place seems like overkill

In ear or over ear? What’s your budget? There’s a huge selection out there to choose from.

Preferably in ear and looking at around £150-200

They look pretty good thanks

I've seen these recommended 3 times since you started your topic as I'm on the lookout for wired bluetooth (the ones that go round your neck, not connected to phone kind of wired!).

Not available on Amazon but available for same price on SoundMagic website.

You lot must have money to burn, my overhead Bluetooth headphones cost about 23 quid and do the job for me :D

Yep, I've got some £40 Sony overhead Bluetooth ones and they're the nuts.

The wife wears her expensive air-pod things at the gym but she's such a sweaty mess that they always fall out of her ears on the treadmill

I had exactly this question and budget

I always research everything to death and went for Lypertek Tevi and they don’t disappoint…. Solid as a rock and great sound

Tried airpods and they are fine, but overpriced…

Hi! Bump

Basically the same Q as the OP but interested in thoughts given more of you will have used them now.

I want something with good battery life, works with a Samsung phone and most importantly stays in the ear during exercise. Happy to spend up to £200 if really, really worth it, but a bargain is great too! Thanks

I'd recommend PowerBeats, you're looking at 10/12 hours of battery life, I never have to worry they're going to run out if I've been out all day and I'm getting my gym sesh in late

Use Bose Soundsport for when I'm running. Sound great and actually fit really well.

I have the Bose Soundsport Free and love them. Decent battery life, designed for sport and great sound quality.
