he really needs a good loan and match time. Like Barnes did. He needs minutes on the pitch, which he won’t get in our squad.

Don't disagree with that suggestion at all but we are currently lacking depth in that no.8 position where Maddison and Tielemans play. We've also spoke a lot about having an Ndombele/Yaya Toure type midfield driving force, which I think Tavares could be.

 

Just a thought if we don't recruit in that position.

We won't loan him out until he agrees to sign a new contract. The club and player have been at stalemate over that for the last year.

Ndidi, Perez and Iheanacho all posted work outs on Instagram at home last week, Vardy has returned to training but not sure he was allowed last week....
