How is this possible if there's only five players on the bench?

he always was.. he reads the game superbly being an anchor in the midfield.. he isnt a box to box like we tried to replace in kante just a shame he has always struggled with injury. He is fully capable of covering ndidi above anyone else.

I just listed what they put on the stream there is probably more as Johnson is sitting on the bench.

The five on the bench come on at half time. Then form part of the second 60 team. That will also have subs to replace those five after the second 45....
