Well deserved....but Evans was better more consistently.

How come that Sterling is up for the main PFA Player of the Year award, but didn’t get in the PFA Team of the Year?

Live from a woman in a cupboard in Aberdeen, it's time to announce the PFA team of the year!

I know the formation is meaningless, but why is Vardy shown as a wide striker when he plays down the middle, and won the golden boot, and Aubameyang, who often plays off the wing is shown as the central/main striker?

Vardy deserves it, loving how rattled other fans are that Cags made it in

Don't these votes happen in February? For most of the season until then he was bloody hard to play against.

Not on Twitter. Which other fans are annoyed about Cags getting in? Who do they think should be in ahead of him?

Already been said that it's the players that vote, so there really is no argument.

Shows how highly rated he is amongst his peers. Must be a very tough opponent for any forward to play against.

He strong like Bull.

The PFA award is voted for by the players themselves, therefore for Cags to get into the team in his first full season in the first team is phenomenal! That means his fellow pros voted for him, and to be honest looking at the way he dealt with players like Salah, Mane, Aguero, even in losses speaks volumes about what other players think about him. The guy is fast, strong, technical and good in the air. Opposition players don't like going up against him and rate him as a player. This is also why KDB won the main award instead of a Henderson. Henderson is super important to his team, but KDB is the best player in this league by some distance.

Soyuncu has now featured in both the Bundesliga and Premier League teams of the year at the age of 24 and despite playing for relatively modest teams in Freiburg and Leicester City. Maguire has not yet got into the team, but his replacement has. Super impressive, especially given he's had to adjust to two new leagues and languages. I'd agree that Evans is the more consistent, but again the players voted for this and they must like what they see!

A couple more seasons and Soyuncu will surely be on his way to one of the very biggest teams in Europe. I think everyone sees the Puyol resemblance, not just in terms of appearance but the way he plays too. I for one would not be surprised to see him go to Barcelona, or even Real Madrid for whom Sergio Ramos is coming to the end of his career there.

Well played Vardy too, he is our GOAT and as top scorer was inevitable he would make it. His incredible story continues.

The scouting team have to really be praised for signing Soyuncu, as does Rudkin for forward planning. We signed him, left him in the reserves for a season with everyone thinking he was probably a dud, but we had actually signed one of the best young CB's in Europe and had Man U's trousers down at the same time. Just a shame the mancs nicked us to Champions League football, as that would have been the icing on the cake.

^Let's enjoy some of his best moments so far!

Totally sad but I got excited when he got one over Chris Woods.
