If he breaks his leg in that period then the club that's bought him will take that on. Highly doubt that will happen apart from younger players who go back on loan.

Yeah it’s unlikely, but if you don’t ask or negotiate like a complete James Hunt you never know.

Next three months are massive for him. If he's to have any sort of career with England he has to play soon. Could so easily slip back into the group of not really's for England, albeit not his fault.

Playing for Leicester is not the problem.....any other manager would of given Maddison some game time, hopefully the FA realise they aren't going to win Euro 2024 with Southgate

He does anyways. He'll have given us 5 years. We've given him 2 medals and 2 European campaigns. He's given us goals,. assists, entertainment, fun rucscaks and great interviews and probably 60 odd million. It's been a win/win deal but he needs to finish his peak years in the champions league

He'll be back week on Monday at a guess. Should be available for selection v Newcastle after a week's training

As someone said above, he's probably now realised he needs to be at a top six club to get into this side, also has probably spent the last month with players from said clubs in his ear forcing a move
