It will be fine, testing is regular, no crowds. Unlike last year where a few cases set it back and delayed it, they've got protocols in place.

Let’s hope so!

Can't see that happening, if anything they'll reschedule them.

I think we have to fit in in before January. So it should be fine but who knows what’s going to happen next.

Is top level football being affected? With players being tested so regularly could it carry on?

Will not be affected.

They have measures in place now that have been successful. It had to stop last time because no procedures were in place until June.

This is where they cocked up and were too arrogant IMO. This was always likely to happen again, and possibly again at the turn of the year. They started the season a month later and want to catch up with what is already a packed schedule for most teams in England other than PL sides in no European competition. Would it really have hurt to ditch the League Cup this season and/or the FA Cup?

They can't work from home can they so they're fine.

Why? Travel still permitted for ‘work’

Currently the border is open for ‘elite sports teams’ but that may well change.

If they can’t come apparently the home team is responsible for finding a neutral venue. If we can’t find somewhere we take a 3-0 loss.

Its unlikely well we’ll get to that stage but .... 2020

But it won’t change.

Equally UEFA have four agreed venues where to play games in such situations.

Finger's crossed the meaningless internationals get scrapped...

Surely "meaningless internationals" is a matter of perspective. They might be for you but they're not to me.
