Yet again people were praising his new contract. Could never get my head around it. Not good enough. Another one we’re stuck with.

would love to know where these people are..........and the defence of it is,

because Thomas has been woeful this season, im talking getting close to Ryan McGiven levels

One of the worst left backs iv ever seen play professional football - absolutely stealing a living - the fact he is our first choice left back is a disgrace - league 2 player

It would be nice if we gave Aluko a go. His runs into the penalty helped open up defences in pre season and he was even playing at centreback them.

 

Think his athleticism and dribbling ability would be useful.

Pretty bang on. You get some full backs who can defend well but offer nothing going forward. You get some that attack well but can't defend. You get some like our Riccy P that are class at both. And then you get one or 2 that are muck at defending and attacking. Step forward Luke Thomas

He’s garbage. Literally offers noting at either end of the pitch. I don’t even think Victor is any worse, at least with Victor he is fit and will break forward…. He probably got one or two very minor better qualities than Thomas. To think some got on Chilwells back, he was 16 times the player Thomas is.

There’s been interest before, back in January wasn’t it? Hoffenheim?
 

The saving grace is there’s no PSR factor to cover so we could sell him for anything. 
 

Maybe there’s a scenario where this contract came with decent wage reduction that would make a sale easier? That could be good business sense if we sold for a small profit rather than him going for free. 
 

Just trying to make sense of it. Knowing how the club it run I’m probably well off and it’s a huge pay rise lol

Some people called it hyperbole when I said he's one of the worst left backs in the division..... I'm thinking it was probably a major under statement.
