This infuriates me; peddling this myth that he “gives his best”. Where’s the evidence of that?!

He’s been in the team for 5 years and hasn’t improved one jot. If anything he’s regressed. If he had gained muscle, got quicker etc I may agree with you. But he hasn’t because he’s lazy!!

I've got nothing to say in opposition, after today's performance. There surely must be someone better in the youth squad. they should be given a chance.

Full backs can get done by the one two, it happens, then you need your centre back to help you out.

However the second goal is awful and cowardly, just deal with it.

Doesn't matter you have to have accountability, play someone out of position.

Well we could try playing 3-5-2.  Especially as get dominated in midfield far too often. Maybe try anybody on the left they simply can't be any worse can they?

Play one of the kids. Aluko, Cover (what happened to him?) Whoever. Literally anyone but Luke.

Don't get it. Never have. Thomas seems to be unfairly got at because he hasn't developed into another Chilwell.

He is one of our own.

He started when we won the FA Cup.

He was often asked to play out of position (left centre back) in a terrible side last season. Yet got on with it and at times was one of our better players.

Thomas is more reliable than Kristenson. His attributes are more of an asset than Kristenson's and he is a more solid defender.

He wasn't poor against Watford. No player makes absolutely zero mistakes. And he wasn't consistently beaten either. Far from it.

Without Thomas we are left with Aluko who isn't ready. He needs 20mins here and there to develop.

His 'new contract' gives us stability. We clearly can't buy in the transfer market and if he'd left we'd have been in a mess at LB with just Kristenson and Aluko.

And he is only 24. We could still get a transfer fee for him.

Thomas isn't the problem.

If you look at us in the final third we don't have the players to cause chaos in the box. We are a striker short. There simply isn't a player to cross the ball towards. We desperately need a proper striker. Hopefully, someone big and powerful that poses a threat for crosses. Then I think the whole side will look better

Is this what you meant to write mate:

I get it. I always have. Thomas is shite

He is one of our own.

He was often asked to play out of position (left centre back) in a terrible side last season and was still terrible

Thomas and VK are both shite.

He was poor against Watford. He makes plenty of mistakes

Without Thomas we would be far better off

His 'new contract' gives us stability of being a league one club

And he is only 24.

Thomas is part of the problem.

If you look at us in the final third we don't have the players to cause chaos in the box because the chaos is mainly around him

This is a terrible take.

We only need to field a professional footballer - out of position - and they'd fare better. Because Thomas isn't professional level; speed, stamina, positioning, touch, dark arts, heading. Whatever.

Ricky..Hamza. Faes. Okoli..Skipp. Abdul. Ayew. They'd all be better options. I'd probably go as far to say that ANY player, outside of BdcR, would be an improvement at left back.

He was shambolic tonight

Apart from the Salah game, his best performances have been a 6/10. On his 160 performances for us,.I reckon he's logged 5 games at 6/10 (and above for the Salah game)

Probs bagged 30 odd at 5/10. An easy 40 at 4/10. Another 40 at 3/10.  The remaining 45 at 2 or worse.
