I do apologise if this has been discussed elsewhere. I find myself in Spain right now..

Keen to watch the game later. Is it possible from here ? Anyone know how? Obviously I can do the stream thing but I would have thought there were legal options as well?

I imagine the easiest thing to do would be watch on the BBC website, using a VPN which makes the device you're using think it's in the UK?

My Dad is going to ask me about this. He can barely work his telly. If anyone knows simple steps for someone watching BT TV I am sure he would appreciate it. Otherwise he's going to have to to listen to Talk Sport. (The website is out of the question)

If you live in Spain I'm sure it's possible to take your UK Sky box and angle your dish very low to the horizon and you can get the same service there as you would in the Uk.

I'd imagine that would work with Freesat too (which gives you BBC)

The Red Button service got discontinued by the BBC in December, due to them wanting their content to be more digital and as part of a cost-cutting exercise.

Personally miss the service.

You're confusing me @Wymsey It's reported that the LCFC game and others are all available on the Red Button :dunno:

Was it not the multiple red button channels that got axed. I think it's channel 601 on Freeview that is BBC's red button/extra channel, whatever you want to call it.

I read somewhere that due to Brexit,  you cannot longer use your Sky or Netflix whatever to access your UK based subscription in while being in Europe unfortunately.

They don't know that you're in Spain as you're using the same satellite as you would be in the UK. Think you have to get a bigger dish mind.

They may have the technology to stop this now for all I know, I just know it could be done in the past.
