Honestly don’t think the pitch is misbehaving as much as people are saying. Yes the bounce is a bit random but it’s not a minefield by any stretch. India are favourites imo.

Oh, no doubt, especially now Foakes is gone and we might not make the 200 lead. 250 would have made it about 50/50, now it's about 75/25 in India's favour IMO. But there is a chance if the bowlers get on an early roll. Getting Jaiswal and Gill early will be critical.

India get over the line fairly comfortably although we maybe had them worried for a moment or two .

At times our bowlers have shown their inexperience, but bowled well today. Let's hope we see them continue to develop their skills.

 

Batting wise, although Bazball frees our batsmen up to play to their strengths, we appear to have too few who are able to stick around to build a partnership or innings, which certainly cost us in the second innings.

Apparently NZ haven’t won a home test v the Aussies for 31 years !!
