Sure it was you. The thread when Slimani left

lol Ah right. Yes, that was me. Thanks! I thought you were saying I was throwing my toys out the pram if anyone questioned me.

I was racking my brain trying to work out which post it was, and I thought you must have been on about when someone twisted my words from "It could be argued that Thomas might have more potential than Chilwell" to "Thomas is better than Chilwell."

@Ric Flair needs an award for his contribution to our understanding of knee injuries.

There was also a terrific post about a turd that wouldn't flush but I forget by who.

Thank you! That was me. It's in the Slimani Joins OL thread.

So many choices.

There's only one choice for me but I am not going to name names as it seems unnecessary. But one is particularly bad from my point of view.

There's literally too many to mention.

All of them in their own ways.

Hard one, as this forum gets newcomers a lot of the time, and their first few posts or so could get missed.

Daggers.

MattP (he was fine until some of his views were starting to get a bit wayward towards the end.)

Tremendous post.

Not one for all this gushing nonsense but there are a few posters have impressed me with their ability to take a step back and assess a lot of the touchy global situations objectively instead of willing evidence for their opinions into existence.  Not going to name names but I make judicious use of the like button so hopefully they already feel appreciated.

If in the past year you've talked about being 'controlled' by the doctors, Bill gates, Brussels, 5G or some other faux-political nonsense then I'm emphatically not talking about you.  Just putting that in there because those are the same types to think the opening sentence describes them perfectly lol

Sounds too wanky, this.

But I enjoy Strider and Finnegan talking about tactics. Finnegan called the rope-a-dope thing in the match then when most, myself including, were predicting doom.

There was one memorable post I believe in the Sheff Utd post match thread claiming that we wouldn't get to 35 pts for survival. Thats the worst moment for me. The best being the ACL brothel story, of course lol

Can you point me in the direction of the ACL brothel story please? I must have missed this one.

The best post on here is still the lad who pulled the bird from work and went up to Newcastle, I think it was and then she turned up at his place. Who was that poster? @Ric Flair was it you?

If I don't win "most argumentative bastard" award then....... I won't be saying anything, no point fighting over it.

Ric Flairs Knee injury has to be in there too

Also maybe for the new member, or an outstanding acheivement has to be billynomates for his training ground updates

With impending doom looming and a large set of fixtures to be cancelled, are we doing this for this year, or will it become a nightmare?

@davieG Why did you stop before?

@davieG Why did you stop before?

If I remember correctly it caused some arguments, it started getting personal and it was hard work doing it in a fair and constructive way. The bad was beginning to out weigh the good.

If someone else wants to do it that's fine.

Some of the bullies who think they are above everyone else and entitled to win every award started taking it extremely seriously. Gotta have that foxestalk award certificate on your wall!

They've syndicated now and have their own powerful axis of aloofness and entitlement, which will just result in vote trading and hence victories for the haughty and the dull in a predictable procession of smug greyness.

Let's do it actually and see how right I am.
