When will it be?

Not scored since 13th Feb against Liverpool. 9 games in all competitions.

Not sure what his longest run without scoring is but this seems a drought worse than an African desert would suffer.

The most worrying thing about this for me, now that Maddison is back, is whether we keep playing with Nachoman or drop back down to one striker again. The latter might see our goals dry up. Not least because Maddison is not match sharp as we saw yesterday.

No goal in 6 before the Liverpool one either, so 1 goal in his last 16 games and that was a gift.

He’s always been a fairly streaky player and has a dry spell every season. Last season he didn’t score between 20 December and 9 March (9 games). The difference this year is that others (Barnes, Maddison and Iheanacho) have stepped up to fill the gap and Vardy’s all round play has been better than it was in the equivalent dry spell last season, possibly because he’s playing a different role in this front 2. He’s already got 2 more assists this season than last.

Love that even though he’s going through a dry patch majority of votes are fit next game.

Until Barnes is back I'd be surprised if we revert back to 4-2-3-1 as we don't have the players and pace for it.

West Brom are poor defensively and he’ll get a few chances. Whether he takes them or not is a huge question on his current form but I’ve gone for this. West Ham he won’t get a good chance I don’t think.

It’s coming, it’s not like he’s misfiring (apart from the Man Utd one). He’s still getting in the right positions. If he timed his run a little later then he would have scored yesterday.  Not worried at the moment as he’s still having an influence on our games one way or another.

Tbh I'm really not concerned at the moment.

He came back from an operation quite quickly and in some of the games you'd expect him to score he's still contributed with his all round play.

I'm not writing him off completely just because he set such high standards before. If he doesn't score for the rest of the season and we finish top 4 then he's still more than played his part.

Southampton semi-final.

It was a bit of a relief yesterday, even though it was offside, to see him smoothly take it round the keeper and roll it in. He's been snatching at chances recently.

agree it was good to see him 'finish' yesterday. Think he'll score at West Ham though - probably twice

1 goal in 16 games and that was a late birthday present from Alisson Becker.

Where's the option "Never. He's scored his last"

Correct. It highlights the fact that instinct and ability are still present. He didn't know it would be offside.

It won’t be long. He took the offside goal beautifully yesterday. I’d not be surprised to see him score then go on another run of scoring

An option that must never be explored.
