Schmeichel has revealed how they paid tribute to Vichai during the game as he dedicated the victory to him.

"When you work together and have an internal belief, that is what you can achieve,” he added. 

“On the inside of our shirts, we have a picture of him (Vichai). He is always with us.

"For Vichai and for Top, this is what we have talked about for so many years and today, for the fans, it is amazing."

As a man United fan (and ashamed at our ESL actions) I want to say congratulations on your FA cup win. It was well deserved, and you have amazing owners that genuinely care for  your club and it’s fans. I have to say, I’m jealous as are many United fans, it makes a change form the usual club rota of winners, you also have in Brendan Rogers a manager who will definitely elevate you, I would have taken him at United without a doubt. Anyway.......enjoy the much deserved success.

Ah man, so happy he could experience this joy with the team on the pitch, knowing they've all done it for his father, as well.

We all have our own beliefs about life and death. Mine are really simple; you die, lights out, that’s it.  Game over. Yesterday was the first time I’ve ever soooooo wanted to believe something else. I would love to think that somehow The Boss was looking on from afar.

Amazing owners.

 

Living in London and having mates supporting London based teams saying that they got emotional when Top was called into celebrate shows the love our club has because of our owners, even from the neutrals!
