I’m P2 but my dad is about P4 I think so if no chance of us going to Wembley together I’m thinking garden, BBQ and beer and get the TV outside......weather depending anyway

Bbq, beers, tv outside (hopefully) with the mrs and rugrats for me. Deck the house out in Leicester bunting and make loads of noise to piss off miserable Martin next door. Wouldve travelled even without a ticket under normal circumstances. Hopefully next year.

On my own at home as the husband has fallen out with football and refuses to watch it :(

VAR or Superleague tantrum?

I'm a miserable so and so and will probably watch on my own at home, where I can fully savour the occasion without jostling for position in a pub with iffy service and straining to see a sunlight faded screen

If we win, I'll have a drive round  blaring my horn and head for an M1 bridge to decorate it

I would advise staying away from motorway bridges if we lose.

I'm promised my old Dad (94) I would go up North and watch it with him. It's going to be emotional whatever the result. It's entirely down to him that I support City. He was at the last one in 69 and in 61 (why I hate Spurs - even though I wasn't born). It's highly likely that he will fall asleep a few times during it and won't know that much about what's going on, but he'll get it.

perhaps his sleeps will lower the stress levels for him. I gave my Dad my ticket to Palace play off he went with my brother. my brother came home and said 2 big blokes in front of them were standing on their seats. my Dad was 56 then he tapped one on the shoulder and said if you don't sit down i will put you down. luckily they sat down.

lucky for whom I'm not sure.

Reading some of the stories here are why the cup final is so important for us. A lot of folk mentioning their fathers - a generation what went through three cup final failures

Also adds weight to supporting a team for a real reason and not just (I hate the term) being a plastic . People who just support a team with no real connection but just because they are top of the league or winning  stuff . They will never understand the pure emotion and joy that we feel .

Here are my options, what would you choose? lol

Context: I have a one month old and currently live in the US with a less than supportive wife when it comes to City

1) At home with a few non-Leicester fan mates. BBQ and beers. If we win, drive round the town hanging out my car roof flying my LCFC St George, bewildering the yanks in the process

2) Go into NYC and if we win, fly a flag over the Empire State

3) Fly back to the U.K. to watch with my old man, not knowing when I can fly back out because of this bastard travel ban on both sides, risk pissing off work and a potential 2 week quarantine in Mexico to get back to the US :D

You can tell which one I dream of every night before I fall asleep...

Is the travel ban still on? Surely it will be gone by May15th (wear a mask)

Football factory NYC? At least you'd have fellow Foxes in support.

Sadly the US have one in place for Europe/U.K. still yeah. I’m keeping hopeful that something can be done but not confident. I’m fully vaxxed so let’s see!
