Maybe they feel there's no point in standing in his way, and wouldn't want to anyway, but they're risking a loss of momentum. Praps they have a replacement (or ideas of) lined up already? Maybe there was a release clause in his contract for a club in the champions league, that Chelsea are willing to pay?
Popular Post Matt Posted 7 September 2022 Popular Post Posted 7 September 2022 I’m intrigued as to how Rodgers is gonna sit there comfortably, confidently, quite obviously smirking and asking for the sack and journalists will ask him for his thoughts on 2 managers being sacked before him. Unbelievable. Grow some bollocks Leicester ffs. 8

What in Brighton's management over the past couple of years would make anything think they're dumb enough to want him there? It's more than just a past couple of years, Brighton are setup and ran well. I would only saw that Hyypia has been a disappointment for them.
ARM1968 Posted 7 September 2022 Posted 7 September 2022 Rodgers to Brighton 🤣. They’re not insane down there people. 1
gosfox Posted 7 September 2022 Posted 7 September 2022 If Potter goes to Chelsea and decides that Forfana is not a good fit, is he entitled to a 14day cooling off period???🤣🤣 4
Matt Posted 7 September 2022 Posted 7 September 2022 In the meantime the managerial merry-go-round has started much earlier in the season than usual. Whilst we won’t be challenging to attract the same type of manager Chelsea are, we will be challenging to attract the same type of manager Brighton and arguably Bournemouth are. Not to mention a name that people have suggested on here in Marco Rose is the leading candidate for RB Leipzig. 1

They've not got enough money to attract him and they're not daft enough to employ the boss of a team they've just whooped 5-2. That would be like buying the defence of a team like Southampton when you've just scored 9 goals against them 🤔 1 3
kingkisnorbo Posted 7 September 2022 Posted 7 September 2022 (edited) I do hope Chelsea giving Tuchel the tic-tac nudges top a little further closer to sacking BR. Clutching at straws here I know. Like a wanking scarecrow. Edited 7 September 2022 by kingkisnorbo 4

Popular Post Stadt Posted 7 September 2022 Popular Post Posted 7 September 2022 Brighton will be fine because they have one of the most clued up owners in world football. They're arguably one of the most upwardly mobile clubs in the world - huge, wealthy one-club catchment area, rich, extensive recruitment and a talented squad. 10

Analytics are the most important focus for clubs trying to bridge the gap, we've not replaced our departing HoA yet - which bodes well for recruiting Rodgers' replacement
Happy Fox Posted 7 September 2022 Posted 7 September 2022 Brendan’s ego will be bruised that Chelsea haven’t come calling. 1

Tuna Posted 7 September 2022 Posted 7 September 2022 Crazy to think that after the Brighton game, Brighton are the more likely club to be going into the next round of fixtures without a manager! 1
