If we can't get Mancini then Dyche would probably get us playing football again, one thing is for sure he would be a better option than Rodgers as he has lost the plot completely regarding selections, formations and tactics along with his ability to manage the players.

The only thing i find strange is that literally none of the players have posted anything at all since the Brighton game. Not even the usual ‘disappointing game but we will work hard to make it right’. It might be nothing and they’re just embarrassed from the game but i just find it weird that it’s a complete blackout from all players

Plus with Top flying in tonight he is surely gone tomorrow?

So, I reckon he'll get the Villa game then. I don't see us waiting more than 2 days after a humping at Brighton before sacking him.

I don't understand it. A win against Villa would change nothing.

I honestly fell that if he's still here on Saturday we should make our feelings known loud and clear. People bring banners and sing loud from the start Anti Rodgers songs, get him out of our club and give us a chance of staying up. Look at what Newcastle did last year, no wins near Xmas and they still had a decent season. Make it clear he's not welcome here anymore.

Protest pre Villa is needed.

Really? Might as well give it everything for 90 mins and then go toxic when we likely lose. We can't be throwing points away under any circumstance right now.

Celtic level at HT with Real Madrid. I wonder what Brendan would have done at this point, gone to a 6 at the back maybe?

Go into the Madrid dressing room at half time and tell the players how good they all are.

Well short term is the only thing we should be thinking of right now to get us out this massive mess

Win loose or draw it should happen. He needs to understand he isn’t waned here now.

It’s a joke he’s still here, he’s done here. His criticism of the fans, board etc. Why should we tolerate this? If the owners are just treating everything normally then they are also culpable you would hope not and they are bringing in his replacement. But if he’s in charge against Villa a protest pre match is needed to bring home the message.

Is this the longest thread in FT history?

He’s not gone yet then?

What a twat.

It's quite interesting to read page one of this thread, which began in April of last year, a mere 19 months ago

love that this thread started with this, just look how it’s turned 😂

I think he meant to put “Brendan you are a man!!”

I’ve never seen autocorrect change **** to man before. That thing does all sorts of things.
