They'll be a very welcome addition to the PL, hopefully they have a good 36 game season (with 2 obvious exceptions ) 4 1

foxes_rule1978 Posted 14 August 2021 Posted 14 August 2021 Brentford will shock a few this season, I’m happy for them and I hope they continue to win and shove it to the pundits that had them down. As long as they don’t beat us of course all is good
Guest Manini Posted 14 August 2021 Posted 14 August 2021 On the way out to watch the Leeds game. Town is buzzing, not felt like this for a long time. How nice is it that football is properly back?! Like, properly back.

They need to have the honesty to recognise their position and to hit the reset. They don't want to be trying to steal our players, they want to be copying our recruitment. They need to accept they can't afford guys like Lautaro Martinez and he doesn't want to play for them anymore either, I don't even really believe Madders would have preferred to go there over staying. They need to learn to actually build from the ground up, to actually think about recruiting. Credit where its due, that's exactly what Liverpool did when they found themselves rolling around mid table looking miles away from the title. Sounds like a job for

Wymsey Posted 14 August 2021 Posted 14 August 2021 Newcastle fans must be happy, now. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/58200876 Although don't understand why they persist with 6-year contracts.

People locked up so long and completely disillusioned. Remember spikes in hooliganism always came in times of economic depression and rage against the establishment. What a fvcking mess. 3
OntarioFox Posted 14 August 2021 Posted 14 August 2021 Christ, and I thought the re-emergence of the mullet was the worst thing about the ongoing 80's revival.
Raj Posted 14 August 2021 Posted 14 August 2021 Its Leeds going Man United . Unfortunately no surprise at seeing this. 1
rn9013 Posted 14 August 2021 Posted 14 August 2021 (edited) Football really needs to get a handle on this somehow. The damage to the game caused by scenes like this is potentially huge and ruins the game day experience for 95%+ of the fan base. Shocking. Edited 14 August 2021 by rn9013 1
OntarioFox Posted 14 August 2021 Posted 14 August 2021 Methinks a few casuals (armchair fans - not those casuals) who had Leeds down as this lovely "cool" club to follow and support are going to get a bit of a wake-up call this season now fans are back. Had a few at work last season purring over Bielsaball. None of them had ever heard of "dirty Leeds".
OntarioFox Posted 14 August 2021 Posted 14 August 2021 The duality of football: "Brentford are lovely" "Leeds are cv*ts"
Guest kristianity77 Posted 14 August 2021 Posted 14 August 2021 All you gotta do with these football hooligans is round them up, those who really want to fight and take them to some disused warehouse somewhere and tell them that they can legally do what they want to each other, without repercussion, even killing each other if that's what they want. Thin them out that way.
