I’ve never understood the concept of criticising a team/group of fans for celebrating “too much”. Like who determines what an adequate level of celebration is for each event?

Any Brentford fan not celebrating like we did against man u when we came up, would be absolutely mental. Imagine thinking their reaction is unwarranted. Of course it is. It's a huge win for them.

Massive result for both teams. 
 

Brentford should celebrate like it’s their birthday. Blow out ALL the candles. Suck out every drop of Blue Nun and go fuching wild. Good on em. 
 

And across town Arsenal can begin to realise that this is going to be a very long season and that Arteta likely won’t see its end as their manager.

Blowing up 2 years ago and letting WBA in probably did them a favour.

Arsenal are in for a tough season. Can’t see why madders would want to play for them at this minute in time other than just live the London life. Fair play to Brentford today though I think out of the three that came up would like to see them do the best.

Really pleased for Brentford and their fans, they've missed out on attending two play-off finals, missed their last game at their old ground, the first at the new one and their first match after promotion they turn Arsenal over.

 

They should soak it in.

Ah, let them enjoy it. First game in the top flight in decades, just back from Covid (so a large amount of the crowd had not even been in the new ground til tonight) and a team that was playing in League 2 ten years ago.

 

A bit of context goes a long way.

I have a 1 week old baby girl and her and Arsenal  Languishing in the lower echelons of the prem seem to have a lot in common. 
 

 

Neither of them seem to know how to handle the situation they are in. They seem to not know how to react, how to Behave and seem clueless as to how to get out of the situation presented before them . It’s like they both are looking around for help, but don’t even know what they need help with..
