Not seen the challenge again obviously, so I'm taking Neville's comments at face value here.

I absolutely hate when officials give a red for the severity of the injury rather than the nature of the tackle. So fvcking retarded.

I think that's what has happened, too.

Pawson has based it on the outcome as opposed to the tackle itself.

Klopp is a grade A bell. I feel for the lad, it's a horrific injury but it's never a red, as soon as he was in the refs ear he was making sure he's getting him sent off.

Pawson is exactly the type of man to see a horrific injury like that and think 'great news, a chance for me to give a red card.'

It tends to happen - son’s was rescinded. I wonder if Leeds will appeal this one.

Surely you can’t get a red for the severity of an injury? That is such a stupid rule.

They do that in rugby don’t they ?

Go by how injured a player is .

It's not the rule. Just what we think has probably happened.

Klopp was still berating the 4th official shortly after the red card was shown anyway. What he continues to moan about I do not know. Man is just full of rage and anger all the time.

You could just tell straight away when he sat up his ankle was fvcked.

Leg snapped Stan ..  not nice to see.  Rewound it to see if it was intentional ..  wished I hadn’t ..  :(

What the hell then? Surely VAR should’ve overruled it? I’ve just seen it again and it’s 100% never a red.

It was his ankle I think. Just buckled under Strujk's weight.

You might be right mate all I saw was foot/leg at the wrong angle and looked away ..

Not seen it but sounds like a similar injury to Lil' Wes?

Nah, totally different kind of challenge. Fer Nino came in from the side and scissored him.

This was more from behind but far less malicious.

Pawson didn't even look like he was going to stop the game.
