drumbeat Posted 2 October 2021 Posted 2 October 2021 Thoroughly enjoyed that. Of course, being a neutral helps. 1

Another stupid decision from the club letting him go. He’s better then anyone we have available now. Easy to say in hindsight. A few months ago there were plenty of posters wanting to drive him to the airport for free just to get him off the wage bill. 1 1
Super_horns Posted 2 October 2021 Posted 2 October 2021 Will OGS blame the scheduling? He wasn't happen about it Pre-match.

Did he not want to stay then? We should have offered him a new deal. And for the record I’m not back tracking I always rated him. 1

O!!.. really. I thought the whole point of it was to see how many sideway passes your back 4 can make in 90 minutes?.... We'd be clear at the top of the table if that was the case 🤬🤬!!

davieG Posted 2 October 2021 Author Posted 2 October 2021 Gray wanted to go he admitted he'd long lost his football desire and motivation. He had plenty of opportunities sometimes he did good but he never sustained it for any decent length of time. 1
whoareyaaa Posted 2 October 2021 Posted 2 October 2021 if Everton had a top class striker they would be up there for sure Calvert Lewin will give them a boost as well when back
drumbeat Posted 2 October 2021 Posted 2 October 2021 I think you just have to credit Gray (and Benitez) for finding the player that was in there. I would quibble slightly with the idea that we sold him. He wanted away. He obviously saw that his future was elsewhere, and it's kinda difficult to argue with that right now. Well done him methinks. 2

Our slow plodding style just wouldn't suit him at all. In this set up he's allowed to use his pace and is currently shining. Not sure he'll keep it up all season but the system really suits him. Gray's fault then. 🤔🤣

Cadno'r Cymoedd Posted 2 October 2021 Posted 2 October 2021 (edited) Did Rodgers (or Puel) really make an effort with Gray? Benitez obviously has, tactics aside. And it's paying off. Maybe harsh on Puel though.... Edited 2 October 2021 by Cadno'r Cymoedd 1
foxes_rule1978 Posted 2 October 2021 Posted 2 October 2021 Man U look poor, I can also see some major issues in the dressing room with players like pogba and Ronaldo… I think ole can’t handle that and will be out.
Popular Post Blanchflower78 Posted 2 October 2021 Popular Post Posted 2 October 2021 Villa, west ham and Everton miles ahead of us currently. All attack with purpose and not interested in slow ponderous possession. Fair play. 4 1

Paninistickers Posted 2 October 2021 Posted 2 October 2021 Andros Townsend speaks well. Seems an honest genuine fella
Leicester_Loyal Posted 2 October 2021 Posted 2 October 2021 I really think we could be struggling to even finish in the top 10 this season, we look miles off the pace of the top 7/8.
