Couple of pre-contracts already signed (still rare you get a transfer fee in the women’s game), not sure about players from the other 3 “Big 4” clubs but we should be seeing an incoming or two from United

From what is being said on Twitter, apparently quite a surprise Remi Allen has been let go?

well she was a starter and one of the few that have played in WSL so I would have thought she would have stayed

Her’s & Charlotte Fleming’s departures are both mutual consent rather than contract expiring, guess they’ve got moves lined up, shame to see Remi in particular leave

...we are so used to the movement of players in the  men's game, it is hard to quantify the people going out of the club and their replacement coming in, within the Women's game.

Are we  sharks at the present moment, with foresight and planning with the top division teams resting on their laurels or are we just trying to bring in experience to keep us in the league.

Will we be the team to shatter the transfer system sparking a run by existing clubs to match us where they over commit their finances in a way that it becomes unsustainable.

It only takes one team to go big and the rest will have to follow and I am wondering, are we the predators?

interesting bit on RL last night. Quite forthwrite about many of the players being released not being of the required standard for WSL. Also hints and big excitement about where they are playing home matches next season. They have Belvoir Drive now but got the impression that it might be Seagrave, or even occasionally KP perhaps. It would be great if they did. Could do something like the family night football with the old reserves team, let the kids in for free/nominal charge and that would encourage more people to go and cheer on our ladies team.

I for one am determined to make the effort to take more of an interest in their progress going forward

Seagrave has that academy pitch with stands doesn't it? Though I don't think its capacity is high enough to meet WSL regs

One 499 capacity stand.
